  • welcome to the desert southwest

  • cool

  • almost everything in la county with water in it wether its a puddle or a trickle

has been designed years ago to wisk water away fast so that it dosent flood

    up an area

also ask your self was there a dam up from where you were at?

  • I think you were very brave and sounded calmer than I would have been. Maybe you were still in shock at this point. Thanks for sharing your harrowing experience with us. Something to share with your grandkids decades from now!!:))))

  • scary shit

  • Flash flood videos are cool. Please go hiking and get some more!

  • I'm glad you are ok. I live in Arizona. Flash floods are very dangerous. People die every year here from flash floods...even people who have lived here all their lives. This is awesome video.

  • I was talking about the grand canyon flash flood video as most people are posting about.

  • Can you say STUPID! Laughing at a flash flood? bunch of idiots!!!

  • You where very lucky .

i've had the same thing in the grand canyon and i broke my leg, my nose, and 2 ribs because a tree came with high speed at me but that saved me the tree pushed me too the riverside and i could get out of the river.

  • I know I sound spastic in this video, but we really were seconds away from being washed downstream. I guess it was the adrenaline that makes me sound like a valley girl on helium.

We were visiting from the East coast, where flash floods are rare. There were absolutely no warnings at the visitor's center, and the park guides never told us there might be flash floods that day. We never would have been hiking up there if we had known what could happen.

  • i never would have gone to sea side heights in NJ if i would have known that i could be mugged.

  • First off, don't go hiking when there is a possibility of rain. Even if the rain is 10 miles away, you still could see a flash flood. If you do go hiking, you better be smart enough to know what could happen, and those two obviously weren't. They should have known better. I'm not being a pussy, just smart. Call me cold hearted or cruel, but that's the blunt truth.

  • I truly hope this does not happen to you one day you d!ckhead, but I do hope it happens to someone you deeply care about. go fuck yourself

  • that message is for the passionate mr.AZCjerkoff

  • Like Oh my god, let's freak out, oh my god, I almost died, and I'm so scared.

Hey lady, we get this shit all the time here in AZ. Learn to deal with it.

  • So, read this and let us know what you think: Flash flooding in Tucson's Sabino Canyon killed two hikers and stranded a dozen others Saturday afternoon.

  • Cool I saw a video on flash floods and a girl died because she didnt have enough strength to climb a helicopter rope. It's All So Sad!

  • Death? Hardly....Stephen Hawkins could get himself outta that one.

  • Hey two people just recently died in a flash flood like this in Sabino Canyon. Never underestimate how powerful that water can be.

  • and like oh my god, luckily i lived to tell the story of how i like almost died

  • That's freaky. That's why hiking in canyons can be so dangerous.

  • thats a nice video. thats the shit. glad you got to record that

  • Wow! I've been in this canyon many times, but I've never seen this!

  • This is why everyone needs to respect mother nature.
