  • que materiales ocupas esque soy de chile :D

  • Thanks :)

  • Like sewing string? // thread

  • @lasvegaslove97 That's what I used in this tutorial. I don't see why it wouldn't be alright.

  • Can I use normal string?

  • @lasvegaslove97 What do you consider "normal" string?

  • you don't have enough braclets and rings on.. -_-

  • ur pretty :3

  • Can u make a cuff out of that?

  • @kandicore1 yes.

  • This helped a lot, thank you. Do you have a clock or something? I can hear ticking... It wasn't a problem, but that must be a loud clock.

  • This helped me WAY better than all of the video's I have watched, thank you so much :D

  • Gahhh I love your videos, they help me alot! :D

  • OMG UR VOICE IS FU**ING AWESOME AUGUIDY GUIDY!! lol <3 ^__^

  • So like you just kinda don't use the other string anymore ?

  • @NneverSshoutNeverrr Correct.

  • @CellularMango can't do it can't do anything

  • how do you tie it of?

  • @nataliac896 how ever you have to. Whenever I do, it's always different so me telling how to tie it off was pointless to me.

  • Im making a backpack and my collums on my first panel are all slanted anyway i can straighten themim using fishing wire

  • @UnykornSilence Not that I'm aware of. Watch SuperRenWorld's introductory video [i it is about bags/purses] and the one she made with fishing line, the pattern was slanted as well. So it's inevitable really.

  • What do i do when i run out of string?

  • @UnykornSilence tie another piece of string on to the one that was running low.

  • how big were your needles

  • @gummylover99 I don't know.

  • im gonna start tomorrow thx :)

  • When ever you get the chance, may you make a tutorial on how to make a peyote bracelet

  • THANK YUUHH SO MUCH KNOW I CAN MAKE A POSTER ;D

  • what kind of knot is this (3 inches to the left of the beads at 1:47) ? can you make a short tutorial on how to add string length and how to tie this knot ?

  • @MaTricks49 I'll make a tutorial sometime and I'll let you know when it's out. But all you do is take another piece of string and tie them together.

  • what r the needles u r using im really new my first creation will be made tommorow and i need alot of begginer help and i loved your work for like 5 months now

  • @Thedumplingkitty sewing needles.

  • What do you do with the piece of string that you weren't using? I've watched your tutorial on how to make a flat odd peyote stitch, and I noticed you're able to go back and forth with the two ends of strings. Am I able to do the same with an even stitch? I'm planning on making a kandi poster soon and this information would be helpful.

PS you're tutorials are VERY helpful. I always recommend your videos to friends that ask me how to make kandi.

  • @L0OS3VEN You don't use the other string/half at all. For an even peyote stitch you use only one end. In an odd peyote stitch you use both sides/switch off.

  • @CellularMango Oh thanks for your response. Also I remember you saying you use sticky tacks or something like that to stick your kandi posters to your wall, where did you buy them?

  • @L0OS3VEN I found the packs in my house so I don't know where they were bought, but I don't know why a craft store wouldn't have ticky tac or even a corner store.

  • this is too hard to make , it always gets al tangled -__________-

  • Are you using elastic?

  • @miamaria40506070 Not in this tutorial, no.

  • Can you make a tutorial on how to make a kandi mask? All the other ones suck.

  • a little chapstick please

  • @Surenaelaine16 you are not supposed to be concerned with her lips....it wasn't a tutorial on how to critique chapped lips.....

  • your shirt is awesome

  • how do you continue when you run out of string and have to tie it off?

  • @PhoenixPrincess1167 You just tie on more string from your spool. And to tie the project off: you do whatever you have to. Every time I tie a project off, I do something different.

  • thanks for reply cellularmango.your make the best tutorials ever. oh and white sewing string or another color

  • I can't figure out how to tie it off? Could you help?

  • @ophia9 When I tie it off, there's no 1 specific method. I just thread the string where ever I have to to get the two strings together so I can tie them.

  • Whata the difference between an even peyote and an odd peyote?

  • @shelbysaurTV An even peyote such uses an even number of rows across and an odd peyote stitch uses an odd number of rows across.

  • @CellularMango oh so an odd peyote makes a cuff and an even makes flat ones like the pacman ghosts.....right?

  • @shelbysaurTV No, a cuff can be made with an odd or even stitch as can flat peyote pieces. It's just that flat peyote pieces seem to have you "freestyle" where you thread your string since there isn't only one way to get the shape you need. I don't know how to explain it. It almost seems like something you just have to understand.

  • @CellularMango ohhhh okey i feel like a tard but i kinda understand now!

  • you inspired me to make kandy! I love making dragon and wolf cuffs they're so much fun and now I want to try this peyote stitch to create a wolf scene to hang on my wall..good job..also I saw you commented on looking pale cus of the lighting..I think part of it is your blonde hair makes you pale..personally I think you look better with darker hair but that's just me...

  • Hello, and congrats on your awesome tutorial; I have have watched many and yours clicked instantly and really does allow you to see a project from the planning stages to completion with little self doutbt. I have to say my favorite technique is your 2 needle approach "brilliant" is all I can say to that. I wonder do you think that I would be able to duplicate your double needle technique into the peyote projects that I do, I use the Miyuki Delicas the very small beads, please let me know.

  • with the chaos poster thingy what string do you use because it looks really floppy.i made the mario thing with.7mm and it is really stiff not flexible.PLEASE RESPOND PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mrcallofduty126 I used sewing string.

  • You're pretty. Thanks for the tutorial :D

  • This is really cool :] If you have time, can you do a tutorial on how to make this into a cuff? Because that would be great ^_^ haha. This is really helpful-3

  • @hellomisslovelyy to make a cuff you just weave the two ends together once you get the length you want. But, I already have this on a list of things to make so if that didn't really help, don't worry~ a tutorial should be out [relatively] soon.

  • thanks for the tutorial! im gonna go start making a kandi belt and i hope it turns out ok. do you have any recommendations on the kind of string to use? and btw ur really pretty(:

  • @Craftygirl3705 I would probably use .7 mm or cloth covered elastic. For the belt I have I used cloth covered elastic [but mine wasn't a peyote stitch, it was a ladder].

  • @CellularMango i just finished it and realized i should have used a ladder stitch -_- but thanks for the reply(:

  • what type of string do you use and will it break easily? and YOU ARE AWESOME!!

  • Oooh yeah mask mask next!:D

  • How many beads did you use for the mario one?

  • @Oaktreeofoaks I think I put the bead count in the description bar of the videos that I'm making it on, so go and check those out~

  • Can you make a tutorial showing how to make a mask? PLEASE!!!!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCHHHH!!!! :D

  • that hair is unnatural

  • i have a question! i know how to tie it off after just a few rows, but how do i do it at the end? one end of the string stays toward the bottom, but the other is at the top, how do i tie it of once im done? (hope that made sense)

  • @bloodyrose12345 do it however is necessary. Like I said in the beginning: I do these flat stitches to get it done, not necessarily do it "right". I weave the string where ever I have to to get it to meet up with the other string on the other end.

  • This may sound stupid but like... let's say I wanted to do a pattern off of kandi patterns dot com.. I can only work with one HUGE LONG string for the WHOLE thing?..

  • @Keraroo101 depending on what the pattern is, yes.

  • @CellularMango Holy crap so for like your mario one that was all just one long string? O_O

  • @Keraroo101 Indeed it was.

  • @CellularMango Oh jesus ._.

  • Do you need to use needles and thread or can you also use elastic string?

  • @FluffehDinos you use whatever you want to.

  • How would I decrease the stitch at the end of a bracelet to get a point to add a clasp to?

  • @Jadedbritt It isnt a bracelet. Its a flat poster. If you want to make a cuff watch a differnt tutorial.

  • @CellularMango Thanks I checked out the strap part and I now know how to connect a even peyote stitch(:Thanks

  • How would you tie it to make a cuff?

  • @blackmamba2329 I don't know how to explain it other than you weave the two ends together. In my bikini tutorial I show putting two even stitches together [the backstrap I believe]. Go check that out and see if it helps.

  • where do you get the patterns?

  • @Mgjptmgjgd8 Kandipatterns[dot]com

  • where to u get ur patterns

  • @TheYohanaaguilar kandipatterns[dot]com

  • cutie your bracelet says "lemon"

  • Every time i type a search for kandi patterns, i find you ;P

  • niicee coat!(: Lol

  • do you tie it again or no and how do you tie it off

  • Wow this is easier than it seems and you are really good at this. I can't wait to do alot of this over the summer! Thanks for the vid! =)

  • how do you tie it off

  • Can you do a tutorial on how to make it into a cuff?

  • damn thats cool thanks!

  • Do you know any websites that have patterens for these? Does kandipatterns have them?

  • @BrokenFlowerChild All of the patterns on KandiPatterns can be used this way. But not all of the patterns will be an even count. Some will be odd, meaning you will have to stitch differently. You can watch how to do the odd count peyote stitch in my kandi tie tutorial.

  • Alright, sorry of you've been asked this before I'm using my iPod so I can't scroll through all comments but, do you only use one side of the string the whole time or do you switch? Because I tried using a pattern I drew and it got screwed up when I added a row

  • Ha, I was doing this Darkrai thing for a friend of mine, and It's like.. 23 x 37. I totally screwed up on the second row, because the beads are going in the opposite direction. I'm not sure on what i'm doing wrong.. but it's a pain in the ass. xD

  • umm where did you find the kandi pattern for the blue pad thing you made???

  • why are you wearing that suity like thing?

  • mine didn't work i'm trying to make my dad the ford logo but i don't know how can you please help me

  • This is basically like how you do horizontals right? O_o

  • @xXEmoCupcakesXx Um, if that question means what I think it does, then: yes. This is a pattern for horizontal lines.

  • heyy =D

with all your flat kandi do you use elastice string or idk what its called threading string lol i thnk you said it in the video but i just was alittle comfuse i wanna make a buttercup one for my sister for her bday but i wanna make sure i get this right lol so if you can help with quick pointers of like NEED TO KNOW! lolz that would be awesome thank you so much <3<3 and i hope your ok <3 <3

  • @coolrockingchika I use sewing string [it's not stretchy] but you can use elastic. It is completely your preference.

  • can you do a tutorial on making just a regular cuff and 3d cuff?

  • @KaitlynNicole789 I'm working on those right now. I have been out for awhile. Please allow me time to get situated again.

  • ok so i got to the end of making mine how do i tie it off at the end

  • @loveb102 You tie it how ever you feel is neseccary. I do whatever I have to in order to tie it.

  • Mmm... so is this how you start to make a tie? :3

  • @JustMeJennyG No, to make a tie it has to be an ODD count peyote stitch. I explain that in my KANDI TIE TUTORIAL.

  • hello kitty band-aid <3 :)

  • I must be retarded |:

i have been trying to do the batman logo for three days, and i cant even get passed the second row !! I can do it if im not following a pattern but i cant even half way do it while following a pattern ):

I need some help... Uggg... idk what to do i gotta do the batman logo before match):

  • this video helped me alot thanks

  • Could you make an Odd Count Peyote stitch?

  • @thedudeandrew I made a kandi tie tutorial [which uses an odd count] that I plan on posting up later today [but I'll only be able to post it if Rex comes over (I have to use his laptop since I can't use my house computer)] so be on the look out.

  • Aaahhhhhh big needle I would have stabbed myself like to times with like 10times

  • Okay, so do we not use the first string anymore after we tie it 3 times???

  • @TokioHotelScreams Correct.

  • blehblehbleh. i tried this, but whenever i put he second row on it goes all loose and goes all over the place o-o

  • so after you tie the knot you just use one end of the string

  • @CellularMango okay cool thank-you so much for posting this

  • how long and wide is your scarff?

  • @littlemissgrumpy123 I have two scarfs [both are seen in my KANDI COLLECTION TOUR video]. My rainbow scarf is 6 beads wide [1 inch and a half] and is 2 feet and 11 and a half inches long. My white anchor one is 13 beads wide [3.4 inches~] and is 3 feet and 2 and a half inches long.

  • Do you know a site where i can download the paper?

you know when you was drawing your design and you had the template to draw it on, where did you get it? (:

  • @shazziee101 I'll have to send you the link to the site in a message because it won't let me post it here.

  • @CellularMango could you possibly send me the link to the site aswell? :)

  • @ashleybrown013 Yes.

  • ccocould you add more than 14 beads at the beginning to make it bigger?

  • @mizzfitroses Yes. It can be how ever long or short you need necessary. I have one that is 94 beads across. It is whatever your heart desires.

  • I'm really sorry if you have answered this but when you make a scarf, how do you do tha 'tassels' on the end? Xx

  • @rockpaperCHLOE I can't really explain it well. I guess I'll make a quick tutorial on that when I have time.

  • @CellularMango thankyouuuuu x

  • ok so [noob question] i love your tutorials. coyuld you ever do a kandi bikini tutorial

  • @CupcakeCutieChizuru Yes. As mentioned IN THIS VIDEO: there is a list of tutorials I plan on doing on my channel page, and a kandi bikini JUST SO HAPPENS to be on the list. Thank you for listening to my video.

  • WOO (:

    Thank you so much :D

    Youre amazing.

  • iLOVE ur ring:D tip:put on chap stick please(:

  • @0427bee I'm well aware of my chapped lips. They pretty much are un-curable during the winter.

  • can you make a belt doing this?

  • @thewhitemexicans9698 Yes you can. You can also make a belt from a ladder stitch.

  • @CellularMango yea i made a belt today its hella sick:] 425 beads i used.

  • cool shirt:]

  • Do you use sewing string or string magic? I was told you could do it with both..

  • @acd94 For these big projects I use sewing string. MUCH cheaper for more and I wouldn't want the creations to be all stretched out. The sewing string keeps it more tight.

  • is it kinda like makin a cuffonly flat?

    well attempt number 1 ha

  • @Miriambbbyyo That's exactly what it is~

  • do u have 2 use the neadles .. and ware would you find them in the store?

  • @thejenisback321 You do not have to use two needles. It is just my preference. It cuts the time I work on something by about an hour. If you are asking where to find needles, they would be in sewing section I would hope.

  • Im definitely going to make a scarf now ^_^

    nice video (:

  • Can you use this pattern to also make a bracelet/ kandi?

  • @RimaTouyaOtaku Yes, that is how I made the sheep, Halo 3 logo, and Chao that have been seen in my other videos. This is the STITCH that you use. Just find a pattern you like and use this stitch on it to make it flat. [If any of that makes any sense.]

  • @CellularMango Thanks ;D And it makes perfect sense.
