i dont think the dog was trained because any trainer will train it not to jump up. at :48 this dog did not give a shit. if it had been trained not to and still did, PAT would have done something about it!

obv the dog had done the commands before so it was somewhat ready, but its clear the dog is not fully trained. just remember dogs are smart animals..all it takes is time, repetition, and love for them to learn anything you want to teach!

lol this is crap! im 11 and i could use my dog to make a beta training video than this. It didnt teach anything! And also that bribing thing is a load of crapp!! I show my dog the treat because it encourages him and tells him that hes doing these embarrising things for a reason!!!! Its much beta than shoving your hand in the dogs face...

I am a Balanced dog trainer...meaning I use positive and negative re-enforcment. I believe all methods can work but my biggest question here is WHY did she verbally reward the dog for the VERY unwanted behavior of JUMPING UP???

Actually no the dog isn't already trained. And this advice isn't bad at all. I tried it on my dog it worked really well.

Maybe if you guys would try it first your comment would be different. My dog only knows Beg/Give me your paw/High five/stay/come and some other things. But she didn't know these one's but she does now. This honestly is great advice and shows you what to do. Just try it guys.

Expert village is no expert on anything. That dog is fully trained, so what's the point? When you do a search for something useful, always type in -Expert Village to eliminate these amateurs.

@AlmostRosey I have videos on youtube of me training my puppy at 3 months old....I do a new video every week for 4 weeks to show how fast it can be done with an "untrained" dog....and you know he is untrained because he is obviously so young.
