App St. was out of timeouts. If they run the ball and get tackled, time could run out. A pass is also too risky near the endzone like that. They did the right thing by kicking that field goal when they did.

They were out of timeouts, but 30 seconds is definitely enough to have a quick run play to middle of the field, set up again, and spike it.

@vidwick NO it wouldn't. You could easily run a running play, then get up and spike it with 3 seconds left. THEN kick the FG. Kicking it with 30 seconds left was stupid. They were lucky to block that FG. They definitely should have run all the time off before kicking that FG.

They should have run a play, spiked it with like 3 seconds left, and kicked the FG on 3rd down. It worked out for them, but wasn't very smart. you know, football isnt a sport where upsets are that hard. i love football and play it for my school but if you put every player out there and they're guaranteed to lose and you coach them to have the heart and discipline to win they will do just that. Wrestling is another story, you dont see upsets because we are all so disciplined and its a sport of only men. you dont see any fucking around in wrestling like for example: slapping eachothers asses in the football huddle and other gay jokes
