The passage on "the days of Noah" says nothing about what happened after the flood. The whole point is that the judgement was swift as it will be with the coming of the son of man. That's it.

@ministerfortson My point is, this passage is not about WHAT HAPPENED during the days of Noah, but how IT ENDED - suddenly and without warning. That is why the phrase "until the day" is repeated. It may have taken Noah 120 years to build the ark, but the springs burst and the rains came suddenly.

You're reading too much into it and being TOO specific. If you read "as in the days of Noah" in context (see Lk17 and Matt 24) He's simply saying that people will be going about their normal business until the moment of judgement and will be caught out. Why else mention Noah, Lot and "the day" in one breath? What does the verse before your reference say?

You mean the context that starts with "No one knows the day or the hour"? This theme surounds the passage on Noah in Matthew. This whole passage is not so much about the signs of the coming as the nature of the coming which will be a complete surprise (see Mt 24:36,42,44). That is why the phrase "up to the day" is used.

Luke (17:28) says it was the same in the days as Lot. What was the same? The context is clear: people were doing as usual until  "the day" of judgement. Then it goes on to describe "the day" of the coming.

@gretchaninoff James 4:11 does not apply to false teaching. Murray purposely teaches falsely and completely disregards what the Bible says when it doesn't fit his theory. Genesis 4:1 clearly says that Adam was Cains father and that Cain was a gift from God. Murray teaches that Genesis 4:1 is a lie and that Satan was Cain's father from Eve's adulterous affair with Satan. None of that is in the Bible.

And again, using the Bible to point out non-Biblical doctrine is not judging. Murray teaches that the Jews are offspring of Satan and refers to them as Kenites. He also teaches that whites are the real Israelites. The only thing the Black and White Israelite movements have in common is accusing the other race of being Satan's offspring. That's racism and hatred and not Biblical at all.

My goodness as I listen my fears are confirmed, for nowhere in scripture do we have an account of the sons of God after the flood corrupting the human Geno again, also they Generational names do not appear in scripture, you created the link not scripture. Reference to giants later on in scripture, has no linkage to beings before the flood. That generation was destroyed and the angels responsible were placed in everlasting chains as Peter 2:4 says. the book of enoch does not contain any lies. read it and stop repeating what everyone says. everything in Enoch is consistent with what the bible says. In fact we know from reading the bible that they read the book of enoch and accepted as scripture in their day.

@Pjaynes781 I never endorse Enoch as scripture, only a historical reference. Maybe you should familirize yourself with what I teach before jumping to conclusions. ALL of history is full of lies, but I doubt that you attend school board meetings to point out that Columbus "discovered" a continent that already contained people. That's a huge lie, but we use it as historical reference and weed out what's true from what's not. Act 17:11 is what I always teach. Enoch is history not scripture.

There are over 200 hours of audio of me speaking on various subjects, whether its me interviewing someone else or them interviewing me. At no time will you find me presenting Enoch as anything other than an important historical reference. I'm definitely not an "Enoch Guy" as you put it. LOL.

@ministerfortson I personally don't consider Enoch inspired, but I do realize that people can make strong arguments for being inspired. Jude directly quoted it, along with Peter, and even our Messiah used it and called it "Scripture."

Whether that makes it "inspired," I don't know, but it does show that it is very useful for understanding history, and by reappearing after a long disappearance, it does just what it says, as it says immediately it was written for a "remote generation yet to come."

I am not going to argue that point but for me personally I have always been frustrated reading the bible due to all of the riddles and how at church most sermons are the reading of a scripture then 20 minutes dissecting each word to understand it. @ljrow49 Read it in Hebrew and Greek. Get a Strong's. Everything is very clear. You'll find that most church prefer tradition over what it actually says. Do some research on the word fornication and you'll see one of the many areas that those in church are falsely teaching. Once you find that one little thing out, ask yourself why we don't define pornography as "premarital sex". It will all make sense if you start to research on your own.
