'child stealing by the state' Brian Gerrish common purpose

to find out what they dont want you to know in the UK

  • Contact point will be open to 500,000 people. All of them will have CRB checks, which only prove that they HAVEN'T BEEN CAUGHT YET. How many of that 500,000 will be peadophiles?

The childs name, address, school (what if home educating), open to anyone with acess, ANY contact with drugs, hospital records, any lies dreamt up by teacher's to cover their own backs (open to a higher level of security) and NONE of it removable by the parents even if blatently wrong.

  • Actually it's estimated that there will be around 330,000 people able to view ContactPoint. Any contact with drugs would be under the sensitive services area and would require clearance from the organisation confirmed before they could view it. This is the same for mental and sexual health.

  • Any lieas dreamt up by teachers would be kept on the child's case record, which would be held by either the school or the social worker if they have one and would go nowhere near ContactPoint. There will not be any case notes on ContactPoint. Parents and Children deemed mature enough can request acces to their records on ContcatPoint, they can also request for it to be changed if it is wrong.

  • Parents cannot remove their children from it completely, but they can also request shielding as well as access to their childs information to ensure it is all correct

  • Added to this child is then put on the at risk register and any further children you may have will be scrutinised. How much interference into our and our childrens' lives are we supposed to tolerate in the name of "safety"?

  • To be fair, there are parents out there that will continually abuse their children. Yes there have been mistakes, and I am by no means saying that all social workers get it right every time, after all they are only human. It must be acknowledged however that there are alot of bad parents out there, and of course when they have been found once they will need to be examined with each child to decipher whether they have ceased their abusive behaviour or not.

  • How then do you purpose we protect children like Baby P then?

Papers like the daily mail and campaign groups like this are very quick to condemn the government over cases like Baby P and say more should be done to protect children, however they then protest over this database which will help to protect children.

    So what is the answer?

  • Baby P was known to the Police the Social Services and the NSPCC who all failed her. Having a national database like this will not protect children, it will leave them wide open to hackers selling their names and personal information to peadophiles etc.

  • ContactPoint is very secure, it will also hold little more information than there Doctor's surgery or school as and will be a damn site safer. Baby P was failed by a lack of communication, how else do you suggest we solve the problem?

  • how will it be safer?

  • The answer is to put the money where its needed. The training of the public services and a decent wage for social workers so that we get the best people for the job. maybe to have Health visitors that are helpful and visit the home instead of having a vastly reduced service that don't have time to actually visit the child at home.

I bet that the database will be hacked within a year and peadophiles will know as much about our kids as the police do and impersonations will be rife.

  • Police information will not be held on ContactPoint, neither will any explisite information. It will literally be the name adress and gender of the child. The parents details and their school; Contact details for any other professionals working with them, unless they are sensitive services, in which case it will simply state sensitive services. A lead professional will be stated and any communication will be through them.

  • I have been saying for years, when they started the sex offender registry, that more registries would pop up, until one day, all humans will be on a registry, and all "for the children!"

    Rabbi Daniel Lapin once said:

"The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation."

  • Actually your quote is from "Mein Kampf"

  • are you suggesting we dont have a sex offender's register?

  • Fuck this bullshit database...over a year ago the cunts started to finger print children in schools without asking parents permission. Their reasoning for this..."So that children can use their libraries easier and it will save time" A concerned parent contacted the education office and asked why he was not asked permission, he was told that it wasnt such a big deal!So far 150,000 kids have been finger printed...getting them ready for the ID cards...WHO,S GONNA BEND OVER...AND WHOS GONNA FIGHT?

  • Totally agree, this has gone beyond a joke. One of the most worrying aspects about this database is the "questionnaire" kids are going to be asked to complete which interrogates their home lives and their sense of self-esteem. It only takes one disgruntled adolescent who has had a run in with their folks to angrily embellish stuff and then this is filed permanently .

  • I can't get my head around why concerned individulals like SENCO's can't just ask the parent or indeed the child if possible, what services are involved in their lives? Surely if they were willing to have the info accessed, and consent has to be obtainied unless it is a matter of child protection, then they would have been willing to pass on the details. This has many advantages for example it can reveal to the worker what the family do or don't know and it involves and respects them as people.

  • what amazes me is the government refuse to do fingerprinting ID and a data system of anyone working with children which would prevent child abusers in the system hopping from one area to another and changing their names and yet the government want to abuse the rights of all children and parents and socially brand but to openly give out this info would seriously create an easier avenue for child abusers to access even more children

  • ...This was whispered from person to person until everyone in the crowd was shouting that the prime minister had got it wrong. The prime minister heard this and although felt that they were correct, held his head high and carried on with the programme. (Apart from a priviso that his children's details would be masked).

  • ... The PM then allowed the technology, with every child's personal details to go live. The people wildly praised the prime minister until one small child said: "but all my details will be available to anyone who wants to abuse or exploit me" ...

  • ...Being a bit nervous about this programme the prime minister first sent some of his trusted men to check it out. Of course, neither would admit that they could easily see the data by asking a mate of a mate who worked in IT to access it. And in fact they praised the new system saying it would be a wonderful legacy. The people in the land began to hear about the database and wanted to show how superior they were and that they understood the new technology.

  • Once there lived a prime minister who was quite an average ruler, with one exception: he cared much about e -government and his own legacy. One day he heard from advisors that they could make his the finest e-government ever. This technology, they said, also had the special capability that it could provide a database of every child, that it would be mostly incorruptible and private information would not be seen by those who were not privileged to see it...
