The reason he wants you to only load up the default.xex is because it's a sham copy of multiplayer, with an older version, allowing him to play older patches, hence, the original dudeeitsbrian patch. If you actually load up the default_mp.xex, it's just slow-mo GTNW, that you CAN connect to in System Link.
@mW2beastDBZ No! Yo DON'T NEED to connect to retail to make it a bypass. Yo all don't know the real reason modding was started, It was started to change the game and play it how it should be played. OFFLINE! Get your head off the online modding! ITs done it its not being released. ANd it actually came with a copy of kBrizzles patch! I just put dudeitsbrians cuz i love that patch. You have no idea what your talking about and really need to thin before you talk.
@mW2beastDBZ Oh and btw we can't load a default_mp.xex bc it already has pre-compiled scripts in the xex and won't let you load any patch modified by script. Teh1337s working patch, its hex edited, and it sucks. And if you had a bypass that lets you connect on retail you wouldn't be using tu7 patches. You would be using tu6 patches like normal bc nothing has changed between the tu7 and tu6 patch. Only the way they load, which this release bypasses! Thats why you can load patches OFFLINE. Derp
