Thanks for posting this. It has been two years and no job for me. MSI outsourced here in Portland after 26 years and left. All 199 of us got nothing and no help from the worksource unemployment office like they told us we would get. Theft is real high in Portland and never have things been so bad here. 400-500 jobs I have applied for and 25 interviews and still no job. The truth of the matter is that 15 million people are out of work. I meet people that have been out of work over 6 years.
There's some very selfish arrogant Americans out there lying to job seekers for there own selfish greed you know who you are telling folks about a job and then the job being completely different. this is not a slave nation respect your humanity.believe that your morality is at stake.
That wouldn't be the only reason. Some employers recognize that those unemployed are more likely to take any job because of their long term unemployment. Employers are trying to protect themselves from someone jumping to another company after deciding to take "any job". It's unfair, especially in this economy, but it's the way it is.
