  • hahhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Hi, thanks for this recipe. But have a doubt do we need to sprinkle salt water each time on the tawa for each roti?

  • Gr8 job chef

  • vahhh...chef....just love the way you cook...keep up your expressions and your good work!!!!thanks for your good videos :)

  • i like this guy .. i am going to make a roti now..

  • The people that clean your stove are going to kill you.

  • that's what I was thinking! lol!

  • Do Not try this on an electric stove. I just did and though the roti came out fine the flat metal part between the burners of my stove has warped and the paint finish has cracked. I ended up doing them in a flat pan. I think you need space between the heat source and the inverted bowl.

  • Cool Vid. The ones in the Taj Palace Hotel restaurant in Delhi are awesome - melt in the mouth and thinner than a pancake. The chefs make em in front of you while tossing them to each other which adds to the effect

  • your instructional videos are AWESOME and you've actually turned this bachelor almost into a chef!

My question about cooking the roomali roti is - why does it need an upturned pan/karaahi? My problem is that I have a ceramic cook-top with no flame. How could I cook roomali roti on that?

    Thanks!

    Arvind

  • Thanks for this entertaining detailed movie. I always wanted to see it explained and why it was made the way its made, but I will use these techniques for making Roti Canai, which I really want to conquer next.

  • Great video & great technique

  • what is mai da?

  • white all purpose flour

  • many many thanks indian cooking

thank u dear for posting this unique video

im going to need a lot of practice

  • It's like flipping pizza dough to enlarge it...yahoo! It's like cooking a tortilla on a griddle; it's as thin as a tortilla, too.

  • Great Video , thanks a lot !

  • thank you for the demo with the roomali roti. Now I can start practicing how to make it.

  • oh man. It looks like there is a lot of pain skill with making the romali roti. But it's worth it. It is delicious. But you gotta make it big enough to wrap some nice matar paneer inside it. Mmmmm.

Thank you again for the amazing recipe.

  • so for 4 rumali rotis you had to ruin one nice cooking bowl. just kidding. hee hee. I hope the roti was good and worth it. that bowl looked expensive.

  • I'm sure it'd clean off if you had stainless

  • it looked like it was from ikea so that's not too bad :)
