If someone isn't paying attention and sees red lights go off in the corner of their eye, thinking they are brake lights you and possibly everyone else around you is in jeopardy.
Have a show car if you want fancy bling, don't do this on a street car. Its unsafe.

in CA its legal to run underglow... but i cant have interior lights. people have their dome lights on, not only distracting themselves but hindering their vision while driving. others have DVD players on the back of every headrest, even on rearview mirrors.
@thewindsurfguy I'm pretty sure you just tap into the wires going to your subs so whenever they receive electricity the lights do too. Behold your lights should turn on whenever your subs make noise.

I have a red Ford Focus and everything about it is red but I switched every single light in it to blue so I have the interior L.E.Ds blue, gauges, radio, dome light, shift light and the control panel blue :)
Hey man thats an awsome light set up you have...I have a Mazda3 as well but its the hatchback with the copper red paint so ive been going black and red with my car and done the same as you with the lights except those lights you have that thump to the bass....not sure how you're doing that though but its looks so sick....ive seen people wire the light through there amp for there sub but the light blows shortly after. One other thing.....how were you able to hook up subs to your stock deck?

@dcnyc45 the Dome lights are perfect, no issues or color fading whatsoever.
if you have the manual, it will explain how to remove the map lights, its a pain at first. you have to completely remove the entire unit, not just the clear plastic covers.
there are two metal strips on the sides of the housing that need to be pushes with a screw driver (or butter knife) and you can pull it down. then you just rotate the bulbs and its an easy fix.

very cheap, i got the lights on sale, buy one tube (7 bucks) get one free. of course that was at a specialty shop, not your local Kragen lol. Bought a 4 way adapter 15 bucks maybe... did all the wiring myself... so totaled like to about 30-35 bucks.
oh the 3 led map lights (which have failed me already..) where about 20 bucks and the 6 red LED dome light was the most pricey at about 25 dollars -_-.
sweet man. i did something similar, except my lights are blue, and i put the ones in the back under the front seats, not behind the rear headrests. had to take apart the center console to hide all the wires. was a pain in the ass, but there's no visible wires and the control is hidden in the ash tray.
Im gonna be putin a 6in on each door, then im gonna be throwin a couple 3in on my box. I like this man, gives me a little bit of help to where im gonna be puttin mine

well, the passenger neon has two mounts on the ends for screw, so i just screwed it into the cover of the fuse box. the driver side was a little harder to reach, but the light perfectly rests in a small crevasse behind the steering wheel column.
the lights i have already had a 12v lighter adapter at the end, and are connected to a 4 way socket splitter under the passenger seat which then connects to the cigarette lighter.
my next goal is to hot wire the 4 socket adapter to the cigarette lighter from behind the center console and installing a switch.
did you use your battery as a source for the underdash light? or some other source nd if so which one? pls answer i bought led tube but don't kno which power source to use.
that looks tight. i thought about doing that but thats asking to get pulled over with the red in the back. of course mine would be blue but around here your not aloud having that kinda stuff on while driving.
