Non military like me appreciate the information, but I strongly disagree with one thing. Kill all strangers. I will be leaving my house when SHTF. I will have my wife, kids, and dogs with me. If you saw me and my family with our packs, our dogs with their sleds, you'd kill us? It would not be obvious that we were in the exact same boat you were? It's one thing if people are running around with only a gun and are wanting like you said your food, wife, etc. a well prepared family is diff.

I love the "ice water running through your veins" Believe it or not, he almost references something true there. I've been a Paramedic/RN for 20+ years, and we have recently started using ice cold IV fluid in order to preserve brain oxygenation post cardiac arrest. (its called "induced hypothermia" and improves survival)

but his drinking ice water explanation is way better than reality! funny!
