And I was at the Tonys live this year, the audio problems was with CBS, NOT Radio City. The only audio problems live was with Guys and Dolls, and once in a while there will be a balance problem, but it was NO WHERE as bad as the telecast. So blame CBS, NOT Radio City!

Oh god. For the Billy performance, this is so much nicer...a show about a boy who loves dancing should have had the cameras focusing on THE DANCING rather than Elton =.=" I missed at least half of what Kiril and David were doing onstage in the actual telecast.

I think they had a mic on Solo cuz on TV I couldn't understand any of the West Side Story's part, sounded like girls off stage.

Yea the sound went downhill in the real thing; the girls was a microphone hitch- it was people rehearsing offstage i think. :S

So in the dress rehershal Elliot John's mic works, and I bet all the mic worked for Guys and Dolls, and all the other problems weren't there...too bad it was not the live one... maybe it was my TV set...

Thats a great idea! However, the only problem is that recording this from an audience cam is the equivalent to recording a broadway show. So technically, its illegal. Although, someone could just send the Leage the link to the video so the worst that could happen would be that this account is suspended.

Oh, be quiet. Why shouldn't something like this be treasured? There is no money to be made from a finished performance. I had many, many amazing performances on my channel until a busy body like you reported them to the League. They're all lost now, pointlessly.

i think they were only rehearsing the huge numbers (plays, musicals, group numbers, etc) and practiced the speeches if they did that at all... XD

Thank you for posting this clip, for many years we in the UK where able to watch the full Tony Awards but they do not telivise it any more on the BBC so You tube is the only way to see clips
