Do you guys know anything on how Arnel is supposed to be not allowed to sing Journey songs without the band? I was just wondering coz in an interview with Sharon, Sharon said she understands the issue on him being unable to sing Journey songs without the band so she asked him to sing a non-Journey song. Yet I see many clips here where Arnel sings Journey songs on ASAP, etc...yknow when he already joined the band

thanks for posting these, never seen these video before, Arnel is being accepted fast by non pinoys here in USA, we attended the Irvine concert, with a capacity of more than 16k, i could approx, that attendance is 20% pinoy and the rest are americans. I have a friend at work who is a hard core SP fan, but she has all good words for arnel.and guess what the ppl who is in the VIP sections are dominantly americans.

it's very true that AP will probably have a harder time winning fans here in the US. based sa mga nakitang kong comments sa ibang utube clips, its either they don't like him bec he's not white or he doesn't sound like SP, etc...AP did inject a sense of energy into the Journey songs and performances but of course like what everybody's been saying AP comprises 1/5 of the most talented group in music history. Kaya let's support Journey WITH Arnel P. especially on their US tour...peace :)

Yes, we were really luck enough to shook hands and took pictures with AP. I met him twice already. One in his house in QC and during this gig in Bagaberde. AP is a really humble person, down to earth and a very nice guy.. I know him way back in his AMO days and watch them perform many times in Gapo on the late 80s.

Even if it is true, let's not mention it coz it doesn't sound right sa mga band mebrs who gave him this chance in a lifetime. o kaya, tagalugin lang ntin pra hindi sila ma offend - matataas din ang pride ng mga iyan at may tagabasa sila ng ganitong postings. Sa ngayon kasi, dumadami ang mga puti dito sa US na nagkakaroon ng bias kay AP. Alam nman natin na ang success ni AP dpends on his acceptance in the US.
