I think this is Pakistani bridal makeup, becuz Indian brides always wear a read dot on their foreheads, in between their eyebrows, and Paki brides don't . I've been to lots of Hindu & Sikh weddings, brides all hav red dots.Probably they are required to cuz of Religion or something.

@KHANDRADE I am a sikh and we do not wear a "BINDI" ( red dot). Yes it is a symbol of a married woman for hindus but its more of a bridal accessory these days. There r tons and tons of women including my family members who never wore a bindi on their wedding day. It's a poor way to judge some1's nationality/religion. Although the jhummar is less common in indian brides but still worn. I kno of plenty of indian women who wore a jhummar, I m wearing 1 for my wedding.

@nworb Well, I'm too familiar with Sikh traditions, but most of hindus weddings I have attended, the female does wear a dot. I don't judge ppl, I'm just stating some facts,like for example, if u think of a hijab, the first thing that would come to ur mind is Muslims.Congrats on ur wedding,Jhummer will look cute. upload ur bridal pics.It'll be nice to see.

sicks get all their stuff from hindoos anyway and they come from converted hindoos who left original hindoo punjabi religion and converted to sick religion. so a few more customs makes no difference.

the only original religion of punjabis is islam and minority hindoo religion. the guru was born into a hindoo family and practised hindooism all the way to his adult life before he went on a tour of india came back and started the sick religion. then hindoos converted to sickism.
