can SOMEONE help me... i try to save movie file, then it starts to download. BUT then it STOPS loading it like at 35% and nothing else happens.. please i need help. anyone???

Dud I have the sam windows movie maker type.. but umm mines was wroking find resonely untile well I dont know what happend but.. every time I try to put a clip on their it would work and stuff and after the third clip you know after I press mute and all. the windows movie make would freeze and some times it would unfreez but when I try to play the video box on the side the min. thing on the bottom would be running but there's just blackness. So please tell what I need to do...
Do you have a lot of clips in WMM from older projects you dont need anymore? Sometimes deleting stuff that WMM doesnt need can free up some memory and get it running
Like do you mean like in my cloection.. are like when go to file then you see the projects that your working on because if your talking about that I dont know how to delet the stuff on file..
my windows movie maker options does not have the "download codecs automatialy option it has something different instead wich is pretty weird. Whenever i drag a video to windows movie maker, it crashes my whole computer and i get the blue light fo death wich pisses me off because it turns off the pc.
nope. I just found out what caused it. It was caused by too many videos imported to one file all together. Wich overloaded i guess or something? I had like 4-6 videos in there. SO i took them out, and when i dragged the vid, it didnt crash. See, sometimes teh answer is simple. I mean if i re-installed windows and i figure this out i would like fucking scream lol.
mine doesn't have that check box!

I tried this. but it didnt work.
and i'm SO mad. i worked like 5 hours on a music video. and it didnt recover the file. so now i have to do my 5 hours worth of editing AGAIN ;l

Sounds like some sorta registry problem, you could try running CCleaner, running any windows updates, and possible reinstalling windows
