if you're talking about the quick knees, aka the "jeremy kaleniecki drill," it's all about timing and edgework. I've never seen someone do it as fast as jeremy, which is why i name the drill after him.

I did play for eastern for a semester. Well basically both coaches had more to prove for and to themselves than anything else. Add that to the fact that One stole money from the team 12k or more that we know of, and that sums it up. That is only part of what happened. It is really a long story, email me or call me and ill be more than happy to give you an accurate account.

Truthfully, not really, unless it is of AA or better pro. I have been coaching full time now for 3 years, and it is a full career, playing would take me out of that and all the progress BTP has made. Also college years are up for playing as well, so that is out of the question.

that doesn't make a goalie good. There's peewee goalies that can hold a wide stance and drop in a butterfly. I'm not saying their not good goalies, i'm sure they are but you can't tell by watching a video of some guys doing some BF slides and stopping long distance shots. 90% of goaltending is the mental side of the game (reading plays, anticipation, confidence.) any shitty goalie can slide around and drop in a butterfly, it's impossible to tell how good a goalie is by watching these drills.

i'm not an expert but anyone who plays hockey knows that you can't tell a goalies skill by watching drills. A high school goalie and a nhl goalie will all look pretty similar doing those types of drills.

i am a goalie and its funny bc alot of the forwards i know are big pussys who avoid getting hit, unlike goalies who actually man up and get hit with pucks, bodys, sticks every game... plus the better goalies are smarter and better athletes than forwards anyway unless we are talking about high levels of hockey then it evens out... shows how much you know about hockey

how would you know that every forward avoids hits, that is what ur ment to do any way. if u see a guy lineing u up (in open ice), then u side step him, u dont just skate into him and let him hit u unless thats the only option. and any way, since when was it just goalies who have to block shots, or sticks or bodys. .....shows how much u know about hockey.

Actually, the russians dont have any real sensations in net since Bryzgalov. Its well known that Russian hockey has lack of good goal tending, coaches over there just don't have the proper knowledge to teach goaltenders. Thats why the Russian super league is not allowing non- Russian goalies to play in the league next year, so goaltenders can develop in that league.
