OMG IM 13 AND I JUST FOUND OUT HE IS MY UNCLE IVE MET HIM BEFORE BTU DNT KNOW HIM AND THOSE WENIE DOGS BIT MY SHIRT AND MADE A HOLE AHAH I LOVE HIM AND HIS DOGS
Senor Anaya is fascinating, but the camera work is horrid. It moves all over too fast. Who wants a close-up of his nose and mouth, or his head half cut off? The fast cut editing clear thru the clip is annoying. Better to LISTEN to this than to watch it. Stupid Question of the Century to RA: If you were a book, what would you be? And then the very end, after the credits, the cameraman STILL has to be annoying.

I am from Mexico City, I read this book when I lived in New Mexico. I loved it, I wish New Mexicans were more like Antonio and his family...but I understand things change and the world of Antonio is already in the past.
Very insightful author interview. Students and readers in general would learn a lot by watching and listening to Anaya speak about his experiences as a writer.
I read this book in high school..n had to write paper on it..My relatives were born around this era n talked about it...
