  • what sickening ranga freak faggots...

  • Sorry to be harsh but SHUT THE FUCK UP its not yours to say if gay marriage is wrong its PERFECTLY FINE you christians all saying "well gay marriage is a sin its horrible, how can two men or women have sex" well to be honest yeah they cant have kids (unless they adopt) to "reproduce" so the cycle of life can keep going theres PLENTY hetrosexual people to keep life going so go FUCK YOURSELVES. I dont see how u cunts cant see that its not wrong its not horrible its LOVE, fuckin pure warming LOVE

  • @minime6755 GO TOP YOURSELF LIKE ALL THE OTHER QUEER FREAKS....

  • what discusting freak faggots

  • I love how they nod in time to each other.

  • I wanna be able to raise my kids without even knowing what homophobia is..F OFF TROLLS!

  • @perfectskillz1290 no fuckoff FAGHAG CUNTS

  • What's really quite interesting (although i realise that neither of them use specific sexual orientation terms) is that one of them appears to be straight and the other gay and yet they are identical twins. Monozygotic twins usually share around 80% of their DNA (as is quite evident in this case) and recent research has found sexuality to be linked to genetics. It's strange that sexuality is one of the characteristics they don't share. No accusation of anything btw, just an interesting point.

  • @chazridley Yours is good point and I wonder too, but I have to object one statement: we ALL, as humans, share 99,9% of the Dna (and 99% with chimpanzees...). Anyway, even if genetics influences sexuality (and it does, since a gay individual has higher chances of having gay relatives), there are probably many other factors that come into play, such epigenetic and modulation in the genes expression or prenatal exposure to factors like hormones...I bet we'll find out in a couple years!

  • Equality = freedom

  • @henryford1488 Put yourself in their shoes you ignorant coward

  • see how gay marriage destroys this family!

the straight brother fells so bad that his brother is not able to marry the person he loves. i bet all the members of the family that love him does. you people are right, gay marriage is destroying family: its putting the members of this family sad that one cant show is love, as his brother.

  • @saramartins95 That literally makes no sense.

  • @deathstarrringo ok. i admit it was kinda of rambling. i wanted to be ironic with the "gay marrige ruins the marriage institution" argument, so saying the opposite. but it was kinda really weirdly written i must admit - english isnt my first language so i can get he phrase construction messed up sometimes, sorry. :)

  • I REALLY LIKE THIS VIDEO!!

  • @henryford1488 Ah! You be trolling!

  • @henryford1488

    Really? "Lynch all Faggots"?

    Let's do the math:

Percentage openly gay in US = 4% in exit polls of 2004 and 2008 US Census, 6% in UK.

    Apply to world population = 5% of 7 billion = 350 million.

World War II killed only 50 million people and took 6 years and massive resources.

Therefore to kill 350 million gays = 7x6 = 42 years, but in that time, another 100 million will be born to heterosexual parents.

Not all parents will agree to your killing their children.

  • @henryford1488 It's good to know you don't like me. It would be embarrassing to be liked by you.

  • ok "henryford" is that how your world is built up, that someone needs to be a communist to be okay about equality... how old are you 10? 12? Grow up.. or live in your stupid bubble..

  • @henryford1488 haha do you have a mental illness or something?

  • @henryford1488 Your reasoning is obviously illogical which sources from your ignorance. I do not blame you for your comments, but rather pity you.

  • @henryford1488 learn how to spell.

  • @henryford1488 FUCK YOU!

  • @henryford1488 And what does that say about you? COMPLETE AND UTTER PRAT WHO CAN SEE PAST THEIR OWN BOUNDRIES. Better still, how's about we lynch all those who are homophobes! The answer here is simple, if you don't like what you see then bugger off, nobody's asking you to stay.

  • I feel sorry for both the twins. One can get married and the other can't co's he's gay and the other brother knows that and feels hurt for him.

  • @henryford1488 If all your going to do is spread hate and prejudice then back off, and if you can't think of anything nice or positive to say then go away.

  • @henryford1488 Dude, if you don't like it then clear off any leave those who support it alone. There's already enough bigots in the world without you adding to it.

  • What next humans allowed to marry pets or inanimate objects like cars?

  • @cordy1969 How is marrying another person, regardless of gender, comparable to inanimate objects? I've heard this argument before and it makes no sense to me.

  • @cordy1969 Ah yes! Of course! Because we all know that pets and inanimate objects fully understand legal documents and give consent. <_<

I'm so sick of fucking morons like you giving out bigoted reasons that show how mindless all of your arguments are.

  • @Kavono1 Yes and we all know our country is growing more fucked up every day by minority groups and over educated fools like yourself. If it wasnt for morons like yourself voting in Julia and her cronies we would even be hearing about shit like this and groups like get up. I ask you this when did it become acceptable to thrust minority opinions and views upon the majority and expect the majority to just roll over and take it?

  • Its basic human rights people. We're gonna look back at this at feel ashamed it went on for so long just like with gender equality and civil rights. Only 45 years ago interracial marriage was legalised in the USA. In todays standards that seems so obviously right and its shameful society was so resistant to the idea at the time. The same things happening here. Don't be stuck in your ways, think for yourself and be proud for doing so.

  • It's a matter of feelings not gender. Hope all the countries in the world encourage gay marriage.

  • Gay rights = human rights, nuff said.

  • it will make is that they can marry the people they love, just like straight people can get married. It's not going to cause everyone to turn gay if that's what you're afraid of. Religious people, isn't God meant to love everyone? Why are they so different? It's not something you can choose. You're born gay, you don't have a fucking say in it. And why the fuck would God make people gay? Because I honestly don't think he would make them like that just so they'd be given shit every fucking day o

  • Uno era gay y el otro hetero. ¿Ajá?

  • Why don't they just lift it? If two people want to get married that is their choice. It shouldn't be the governments.

  • Oh, look how fucking wrong this is. Two people that love each other wants to get married. Why shouldn't they be allowed?

  • It will be such a beautiful day when we all have the right to marry! I know that day is just right around the corner!

  • *other than their own.

  • What is with all this fucking hate? The basis of marriage is the demonstration of a union of love before god. And most people should be mature enough to not have their religion think for themselves, or rather at least should have some free thought. It is certainly their prerogative to think by their way or their god's way, but no religion teaches to hate. Personally I believe that religions were brought about solely as a coping mechanism for society, and that they should never impact a life oth

  • @jthefreakinjames Allthough i agree with you on most things. Marriage for most gay people is not a union before god ! It is a piece of paper you need to get to get your legal rights as a couple. I am married to my partner but it has nothing to do with religion. If god approves or not i don't care because i don,t believe he exists.

  • @ANIMALcop0403 why do you want to get married?

  • Comment removed

  • come live in toronto, ontario, canada we can marry a deli sandwich is we want over here :)

pride here is AMAZING biggest in the world...

  • @Monii59 Moving to canada. :p

  • Um sorry but have you not realised if youre gay you recieve the same rights to everyone else i australia everyone in australia shares human rights and deserve the same things. Marriage is different with gays , marriage is not marriage with the same sex it then becomes a sin. I cant believe this just cause you got your ''marriage'' now doesnt mean you have to be rude to everyone else who doesnt agree

  • @bball23dabest Yes. If you don't agree with gay marriage, which if people are, they mostly give hate speeches about it. And it's very offensive. I still don't agree with the people who are against it who are civilized, but if they aren't civilized and show blatant hate and homophobia then they deserve to be treated rudely.

And FYI, gay marriage isn't a sin. Homosexuality isn't a sin. The bible has been handled by man for a long time and God wouldn't make something he didn't love.

  • I apologize everyone for my outburst... i hate it when ppl talk down to us gays and expect us to take it all the time... We deserve so much more than just unionship....it's about that time we can get married... and recieve all the protection, bennifits, equality, and dignity that we deserve....

  • @socheathsun but not the right to adopt

  • What a load of tripe. Gay men, for example, already have the same rights as straight, they can marry whichever woman they choose as long as they aren't related. This term 'marriage equality' is just used - or misused - to generate pity and outrage, just like 'homophobia'.

  • @indeed005 how stupid do you sound....GAYS DONT WANT TO MARRY WOMEN... hence the word "GAY"... how does it feel to be prejudice in 2011? obviously, you dont know shit about fighting for what you believe in because everything is handed to you since the day you were born... STFU... GAYS are treated like second class citizens and we are living in heterosexual standards... we want to marry who we want to marry and recieve rights, bennifits, and protections just like you... you SELFISH TURD.

  • @indeed005 So where is the love?? oh thats right,.. people like you think that marriage is a contract.

  • @TheMichlink (& all of you opposed) Please, Reread your ignorant comment(s). First of all, the whole world isn't gay, so legalizing same-sex marriage won't cause a lack of children (we're overpopulated anyway)...Second, how many straight families are dysfunctional? How many children are abandoned by straight parents? How many gay couples could serve as MARVELOUS, LOVING parents for those children abandoned? I'm straight & I fully support same-sex marriage. Open your mind, and a real book.

  • well fucking said

  • No should have the right to deny your marriage based on the person you love

  • When the video started, I thought that the twins were a couple.. ^^|l|

  • I would love to see if gay marriage is legalized in the future. What will be the effects and consequences? or how many children they can produce? and raise a good and loving family with mother, father, brothers and sisters. Imagine if all these cease to exist. It's sad, but I think this will probably take place.

  • U r a sad excuse for a human being , if I met u , id rip Ur throat out and admire Ur death with satisfaction for doing this world a favor

  • @feeneyhungry I wonder how many fags you've stuck your dick in? Idiot.

  • @feeneyhungry Do you want to know the greatest irony here?

No homosexual on this comment area is talking about fucking or dicks.

You're the only person that is.

For someone that is against gays, you're talking a lot more about dicks than any homosexual here.

  • @Kavono1

Excellent point. Most likely due to the fact that most of the homosexuals commenting are wanting to get married. And like most married couples.. they are completely over sex ha!! kidding...

No but seriously, it's only a matter of time before the law is changed and we can all move on from this issue that should have never been an issue to begin with...

  • @Kavono1 WOOOT! DUDE GOT PWNED!!!!!! :D

  • @feeneyhungry OMG! thats pretty insulting. Just do us all a favor and stick to woman. thankyou :)

  • @DANCER720ful like a women would ever go for that asshole

  • @hornegod78 your right lol

  • Keep legalizing same sex marriages to your part of the world. I hope all your children turn out to be gay and they all marry each other and adopt other people's children until no families actually have children of their own flesh and blood. bah. rubbish.

  • @MrMrsJamal It's a solid 12.5% rate. 1/8 people are supposed to be homosexual, while 7/8 people will. That ratio will not change, and it's an irrational and ignorant fear to believe it would.

  • @MrMrsJamal LOL, your ignorance is astonishing. I feel for your family.

  • @Malvisk Why is it now ignorance to be against something? Whatever happened to freedom of speech and expression? I am also against abortions.. Is that ignorant too? I think if YOU think your cause is strong enough, then it shouldn't matter what people say ;-)

  • @MrMrsJamal U aren't ignorant for being against gay marriage, it was ur STATEMENT that was FILLED w/ ignorance. U r right, what u say doesn't affect me, that is why I feel 4 ur family. Ur ignorance affects them. Ignorance breeds ignorance. The only cure 4 ignorance is education, which u won't find in a bible, nor in 1's opinions. Go and meet the people u wish 2 deny happiness and know them as people. Then try 2 continue 2 speak ur ignorance. Feel free 2 speak intelligently about ur opinion

  • @Malvisk people against gay marriage are very aware, not ignorant. The anti gay marriage types are correct

  • @alanbstard4 Was your comment suppose to make sense? I don't know who you think you're talking to, but at no point did I state that people against gay marriage are ignorant and not aware. I was speaking to a single person, about their specific comment.

Opinions are opinions, they can't be correct or even wrong. They can be well formed, or poorly formed.

  • @Malvisk you accused someone of being ignorant for being against gay marriage, did you not? Have I misunderstood something?

  • @alanbstard4 Yes, yes you have. Now I can call you ignorant for stepping into something based on your assumptions colored by your opinions. Congrats!

  • @alanbstard4 The ignorance of the statement is simply that they believe gay people raise gay children, which isn't true. If it was, there would a) be a lot more gay people, and b) no one could be a straight parent with a gay kid. We know that's not true, therefore, ignorance.

  • @RassTheKing so are you suggesting gay parenting is common?

    That should not be allowed

  • To @alanbstard4 Why it shouldn't be allowed?

THE AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION, AMERICAN PSYCHIATRIC ASSOCIATION AND AMERICAN ASSOCIATION FOR MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPY 2010 joint statement:

"There is no basis for saying that gay and lesbian parents are less fit or capable than heterosexual parents, or that their children are any less psychologically healthy and well adjusted " With tons of research and the prestige of such institutions, you think you know better?

  • @alanbstard4 Gay parenting is quite common. Just because someone is married and has sex with someone and has a baby with them, doesn't mean they aren't gay. There are A LOT of people who raise their own children and are gay, sometimes open and sometimes not. More not open than open though, because of the stigma and fear of people like you.

  • @MrMrsJamal "I'm against Arabs coming to Australia". I would hope that any person of sound judgment would say that opinion is ignorant. Because it is. It seems many people now hide behind "freedom of speech and expression" to spout any ol' ill-formed, illogical pre-enlightenment drivel. It astounds me how acceptable you think it is to be able to maliciously add to the movement bent on trampling on other's rights, rights you Mr & Mrs Jamal enjoy.

  • seriously should NOT matter. ..culture language life social norms - everything evolves. change archaic laws now.

  • Great Video!

  • I am not even kidding, these hate comments makes me afraid and sad. Do these haters ever consider teens that struggle to discover who they are or what is happening? Please. Before you hate think about the factors involved. Why can't everyone be treated as equals? When you're sitting on your couch after years of retirement, do you want to look back on your life knowing you didn't give everyone a fair chance and possibly ruined another's life because a fair chance wasn't given? Think again people.

  • I've seen this clip a dozen times and I still cry every time. Dammnit GetUp!, go touch the heart of a homophobe and make them cry.

  • it's not about gay rights. The law will always think of rights of the child, and it's access to children they want

marriage is male/female. Get over it and don't be influenced by disreputable groups like " get up "

  • @alanbstard4 I guess divorce is for a man and a woman as well. hahaha oh yea, one more thing. You forgot to mention the word "LOVE", typical bigot.

  • @DANCER720ful no facts are facts

  • @alanbstard4 And the fact is that everyone is going to be equal.

  • @DANCER720ful that's impossible

  • @alanbstard4 nothing is impossible.

  • @DANCER720ful Bollocks

  • EQUAL civil and human rights for all of our mothers children , NOTHING LESS .

  • For Christ's sake, get over the fact that both major parties do not want to allow gay marriage. Stop making such a big issue over this.

  • @QuietVuvuzela Do you think that matters? It's not a matter of "if", it's a matter of "when". Same sex marriage will be legalized in the near future, no question, and groups like these are just speeding up the process.

  • Christian, catholics are to blame for the ban on gay marriage. Dont forget the mormons.. Abandom your all religions and watch these problems go away.

  • @getdownaustralia How sad, you believe everything you read. Grow up.

  • why the fuck do people care about gay people getting married, it doesnt involve you in any way.

  • @Chrisaerozepath because the next step is access to adopt children

  • @alanbstard4 and? would you rather are kid growing up in an orphanage or in foster home than in a family with parents that love them?

and anyway, gays can already adopt or become foster parents in australia, so that argument is useless.

  • @Chrisaerozepath there are many traditional parents waiting. Also, as the courts will tell you, it's not about gay rights, it's the rights of the child here. That is uppermost in the court's mind

  • I don't give a fuck if two people want to get married. It's only because the government has their fingers in the whole "marriage" concept that it's even an issue.

Anyhow, I'm against gay marriage and straight marriage. It's such an outdated, pointless ritual that goes against biology.

  • @ComicPenius it'e required for protection and shelter of children

  • What a bunch of horrible, pathetic, homophobic comments on here.

  • @Lexigiggles fuck off idiot

  • Try the dictionary for "marriage". Idiots.

  • More commie subversion from a radical youtube channel in promotion of anus lust.

  • @ExploringProphecy it will be ok... i said things almost verbatim to your writing... then i realized it was that book talking... the one that read things that included a woman comming from the rib of man, a man raising his arms and an ocean opening up, and a man 'witnessing' a bush talking. coupled with the understanding that bad drugs existed since the beginning of time, i saw that some of the writers of that book were full of sh@!% just like some of us have been these days.

  • @ExploringProphecy it's that mob of reprobates, " Get Up " A team of shit if ever there was one

  • @petergills5555 Well your not fucking homophobic!

  • If two same sex brothers want to get married, who am i to say they can't be together?

  • Why aren't they both gay/straight then? I'm not hatin' just really curious

  • @Paycorn1 are you kidding?

  • The Marriage Act defines marriage as being between a man and a woman for good reason: it protects and promotes the natural family as the cradle and safest normalising family structure for conceiving children into the world and raising them with balanced male and female parenting. *** Let the ALP and the GREENS know they have lost your vote! ***

  • @Edzikozi and until recently Australia still had the White Australia Policy - point being law does not make it right. There is more divorce and single parenting going on today so that pretty much nulifies the 1950's family structure you refer to. If we follow your structure of family and combine that with the reality of a modern day family unit i.e single mothers raising children, I guess we will become a nation of lesbians and mummy'e boys. Maybe we have a hopeful future?

  • @hudstar2011 nothing wrong with the white Australia policy. The aboriginal people aside, it was British whites that made the nation. Who says there is something wrong there?

By the way, " It was the immigration restriction Act. You didn't have to be white, but speak English Divorce rates or not, the child can still recognize both genders

  • @Edzikozi exactly. Commonsense here. The gays would gay marriage to go the next step, gay adoptions

  • this was fantastic.

  • No matter what you faggot left wing wankers do , there will always be racist redneck pricks like me who hate these filthy faggots .You can preach all the pro fag shit you like , but I will go out of my way to make any faggots life hell !!!!!! You can't change us all :)

  • @limepit88 Do not feed the troll.

  • @wyrwich what do they eat?

  • @limepit88 well said

  • @SalemSaberhagen1 Members do dictate the direction. Members are progressive. And GetUp have always had a progressive agenda - you just cannot accept it nor prove otherwise. You can't push a progressive agenda from a "neutral" viewpoint - You're stuck in the stone-age. Go hang out with all your tory friends and join the Tea Party. Oh, and have a big cry while you're at, fuckwit.

  • @dankru Get up! is nothing but a front for the Labor party anyone can see that!

  • @danielmy08 Which is why they gave the Greens the best score in their election report card for last year's Federal Election? For a front organisation they'd be doing a lousy job of it.

  • @danielmy08 Get Up is worse than that

  • @dankru Get Up is not democratic. I am a member and they send they what they want and never take into account differences of opinions

    Get Up is no good

  • @SalemSaberhagen1 Wow. You're really stupid aren't you? Despite the fact I showed a previous poster exactly what GetUp are all about you go on your ill-informed rant. GetUp members pay no fee and can leave at any time.

GetUp is NOT supposed to be "neutral". Why should it be? Because you said so? Once again, for slow people like you, GetUp is PROGRESSIVE

  • @dankru Oh, the irony! You clearly have NO CLUE as to the ORIGINS of GetUp! When it first started, you ignorant fuckwit, GetUp! said that they would not represent ANY political sector or wing, that it WOULD BE *neutral*, ALLOWING its MEMBERS to dictate the political positions.Clearly, this has not happened, and the organisation has re-written its ethos to cover what it originally said when it started. Once again, for slow ignorant retards like you, it was ALWAYS MEANT TO BE *NEUTRAL*. fuqkwit!

  • @dankru but Get Up members must abide by the opinions of a few arseholes with an agenda

  • Hang on! They're twins, and many gays say its genetic, so both of them should be gay.

  • I'm so disappointed Julia Gillard is against gay marriage.. don't think I will be voting for her in the next election.

  • Marrage equality? How about singles equality?

With every last government program aimed at "working families" single people are left holding the can every time.

It's so expensive to be single, everything costs more from phone calls to banking.

Being poor and single in competition with dual income government subsidised "working families" is a losing battle.

  • Haha! They're exactly the same and they're not! The "So why are we different now?" bit really made me think, that was great.

  • ew

  • Fine piece of advertising material. Keep it up Getup!

  • I really don't give a crap.

  • Not every homosexual supports this 'heteronormative' agenda propagated by some left wing groups. Gay marriage should be legal, but it should not be pushed when other issues are ignored - barebacking, high incidence of drug use, mental health issues, and an overall decline in the social and political bonds of gay communities.

  • @Equalitythroughmedia Totally!

  • Are they the Modern Family's gay guy's stunt double?

  • aww, such a great ad. totally pro same sex marriage :)

  • @Maryangel24 silly tart

  • @alanbstard4 yeh, your comment just screams "maturity".

  • @Maryangel24 { grin }

  • Why is GetUp always so progressive? I thought it was a neutral organisation? Yet 90% of the time they align themselves with Labor's and the Greens' policies. Neutral much? Don't think so.

  • @Benju3148

In the same way that a secular organisation can teach evolution. Politics is abstract.

  • @Benju3148 They never claimed to be "neutral". From Getup website

"GetUp does not back any particular party, but aims to build an accountable and progressive Parliament - a Parliament with economic fairness, social justice and environment at its core. "

Do some research next time. That took about 2 minutes.

  • @dankru GetUp is supposed to be neutral and represent the members' interests. It does not do that. It is simply an extention of extreme left politics and is subsidised by trade unions to boot.

  • @SalemSaberhagen1 that's right

  • @Benju3148 I thought Getup was about the issues not which party to support. It is not a football match where Getup is the umpire or like Switzerland during the war. If it existed 50 years ago it would have tried to change Labor's White Australia Poilcy. Perhaps the Liberals should be more liberal.

  • @millertas Switzerland during the war is not a good example :-) Who's white Austrlaia policy?

  • @mryellow123 Switzerland was purely neutral when there were so many atrocities just across their border. I think you mean whose White Australia Policy. Labor brought it in first but the then new liberals followed. Racism was more acceptable in the 50s.

  • @millertas mate...... Switzerland was the Nazi bank, they were putting the gold teeth in their safes and still haven't returned most of it. To somehow suggest they are a pinnacle of morality is just a little miss-guided.

If you're trying to somehow suggest that Labour are racists and Liberals are against "white Australia" then I think you might need to open a window sometime and look outside at the actual weather.

  • @mryellow123 Switzerland was everyone's bank. I never suggested they were the pinnacle of morality as I believed that WW2, neutrality was not an option. Don't assume anything from me saying that Switzerland was neutral. Labor in the 50s (like so many) were racist, Whitlam changed all that in the 60s and 70s. Don't imply that if Labor were racist Liberal were not.

  • @mryellow123 what is wrong with a white Australia, the aboriginals not withstanding

  • @alanbstard4 1/ Race does not really exist - it was invented by the Americans to justify slavery (like the British and their class or India and their caste). I cannot believe you can't see what was wrong with the White Australia Policy unless you are a racist.

  • @millertas Ridiculous! Keeping Australia white was about defence of the country a young nation with a common background. We had two world wards and our biggest enemy was to our North. Tell any Asian nation about multiculturalism. They don't accept it
