Bill Clinton started the economic meltdown near the end of his presidentcy. Yes Bush didnt help it, but dont blame it ALL on Bush because its not ALL his fault.
Jeb did not run up any large debt a governor of Florida. Jeb Bush was one of the most popular governors in history. Jeb or John McCain should have been president while George W. Bush was.
Actually Jeb Bush is considered to be a moderate conservative. He has a very good track record and remains very popular in Florida and ranks among the most successful governors in US history.

Kerry got 48%. The ratio of Bush to Kerry votes is near 1-1. Roughly have of the country voted for his main opponent, which is a sad commentary. When you have approval ratings of under a third of the people, you are hated.
doesnt it say something about obama though. dont you think he should have won by a lot more? mccain got 47% when his parties president has a 19% approval rating, bad war, bad economy and all.
the opposition party (dems) should have gotten 60 plus percent.
McCain got 46% first of all. 2nd, I think it said something about Obama, that he's black with his name Barack Hussein Obama. Hillary would have broken 55%. Exit polls showed she'd have beaten McCain by 9, 52-41 with 5% abstaining, factor them out, she wins 54.7% to McCain's 43% of the vote. She was beating McCain in MO, KY, AR in polls by May/June, and she would have done better with whites than Obama and not have gotten beat as bad in Appalachia and the South..
Yes We Did! Politics of division hopefully will cease to be. Politics of hope prevailed! We are a country of one. We are all Americans. I'm happy we were all witnesses to this. Hopefully our moral standing in this world can be healed. Hopefully our military will get the help they need. It's time to unite as one!

With all of the research available, how can you Not see that McCain and Palin have more experience?? It's on record for everyone to see, if they really wanted to.
Experience isn't the issue, it's readiness and John McCain was erratic during the economic crisis saying our economy was sound and then suspending his campaign and then being against and then for the bailout. He didn't show readiness on Georgia when he jumped in suggesting kicking Russia out of the Group of 8, and using talk that could ignite another Cold War.
Barack's policies are leaps and bounds more assertive and fitting to our times than McCain's are.
If you disagree with Obama, he (or his Obamabots) will try to shut you up-
Just ask Joe the Plumber, Barbara West and the three reporters he kicked-off his campaign (because their employers endorsed McCain) Thats not the America we know and love. Vote McCain-Palin 08!
You know the Bush tax cuts actually created more revenue. You see citizens create capital will the US government does not. What system isn't working? I pay for my own health care, but it would be a lot easier if I didn't have so much money taken out of my checks.
Obama isn't pro choice, he is pro ABORTION. He voted WITH partial birth abortion and against a bill that would provide healthcare for children born because of a failed abortion. Check the RECORD.
Obama is pro-choice as I already said. Women don't make such decisions casually. They make them in conjunction with their doctors, their families etc.
My sister aborted a pregnancy at the age of 16, and it was the right decision for HER.
So it is more important to make it less likely for women/teens to even find themselves in circumstances where they got the anguish over these decissions. (If they WANT a baby thats a different matter.)
Osama Hussein won't even come up with his school records, or the true birth-certificate needed to be president. You all need to get the facts before posting comments! As a voter, you should be forced to look at the records and resources!! This is crazy

Yeah, but "the american dream" is surely not "earning" money by exploiting the poor (or not giving them the same chance). Everybody has to work for his own wealth, I understand that but what do you tell me if kids from working-class families don't have the money or the title to go to college? Destiny? Or some wrong values of our society..
Here in Germany kids at the age of 6 are kind of sorted out, they look are they "able" or to visit secondary school or not.
He is for the cruel abortion which includes stabbing a baby that has been delivered up to the head, then sucking the brain out!! Because you asked, I do my research by reading the Economist every week, the New York Times and the Kansas City Star everyday, Foreign Affairs every month, and the Wall Street Journal from time to time. I've seen most of the speeches either candidate has made. I watched the debates and I've read the policy proposals on both campaign websites. You see, I was raised with the pride and dedication of my Mother and Father who lived in the great depression, along with my Grandfather In-Law (who served on the Enterprise during WW2) My Father served as a Lineman and sharpshooter in the Army. My wife and I have been raised in a small community of many war veterans, that were all like part of our family, that proudly served our country for your freedom!! That's where we got MOST of our research. But my wife works at home, with research daily!!

Obamas numbers, in fact, are in line with past presidential candidates around the same time periods in the 2000 and 2004 races. Its McCains coverage that has been extraordinarily negative in tone.
For Sarah Palin, the study found coverage has been more negative than positive, with 29 percent positive, 39 percent negative, and 33 percent neutral.
The study, by The Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism, a non-partisan journalism watchdog organization, examined 2,412 stories from 43 newspapers and cable news shows in the six-week period beginning just after the conventions and ending with the final presidential debate.
For Obama, the study found coverage has been more positive than negative," with 36 percent of the stories positive in tone, 35 percent mixed, and 29 percent negative.
In the national media, just 14 percent of the stories about John McCain from the conventions through the final presidential debate were positive in tone, according to a study released Oct. 22, while nearly 60 percent were negative—the least favorable coverage of any of the 4 candidates on the ticket.
While no exact figures are available, if the same percentage of potential foreign contributions found in the itemized contribution data is applied to the total $426.9 million the Obama camp says it has taken in from individuals, this could mean that Obama is financing his presidential campaign with anywhere from $13 million to a whopping $63 million from overseas credit cards or foreign currency purchases.
The Obama camp claims to have 2.5 million donors in all. But until now, they have kept secret the names of the overwhelming majority of these money-givers. According to a Newsmax analysis, the Obama campaign finance records contain just 370,448 unique names.
As of the end of August, those secret donors have given an incredible $222.7 million to Obama, according to the FEC -- money whose origin remains unknown to anyone other than Obamas finance team, who wont take calls from the press.
The Republican National Committee has filed a complaint against the Obama campaign for accepting prohibited contributions from foreign nationals and excessive contributions from individuals, which incorporated reporting from Newsmax and other news organizations.
Many of the donors Newsmax canvassed said they had never been contacted by the Obama campaign or seen any refunds, even though their contributions went over the limit months ago.
In all, Newsmax found more than 2,000 donors who had contributed in excess of the $4,600 limit for individuals per election cycle.
Such donations, if not returned within 60 days, are a clear violation of federal campaign finance laws.
According to a Newsmax analysis of the Obama campaign data before the latest figures were released, potential foreign currency donations could range anywhere from $12.8 million to a stunning $63 million in all. With the addition of $150 million raised in September, this amount could be much more.
By Obamas own admission, more than half of his contributions have come from small donors giving $200 or less. But unlike John McCains campaign, Obama wont release the names of these donors.
A Newsmax canvass of disclosed Obama campaign donors shows worrisome anomalies, including outright violations of federal election laws.
Just how did Barack Obama (D-IL), a rather undistinguished IL state senator, get elected to the U.S. Senate, and without doing anything noteworthy in that august body, go on to capture his partys nomination for president before even finishing out his first term in Congress? A combination of heartlessness and happenstance - and some say, caucus fraud.
Gov. Schwarzenegger: "Being president is all about leadership. If you were in a POW cell with the threat of dangers and torture as part of your daily life, who would you want with you?" "A man of eloquence or a man of proven courage who has shown that he will fight for others even at the sacrifice of himself?"

For example, Obama has numerous donors who have contributed well over the $4,600 federal election limit.
Many of these donors have never been contacted by the Obama campaign to refund the excess amounts to them.
And more than 37,000 Obama donations appear to be conversions of foreign currency.

The first paragraph from a post by The Stiletto:

You obviously like to talk a lot. You really need to open your eyes and not have tunnel vision when looking at presidential candidates.
