Crappie around here go to the deep water in the winter. Of course "deep" is relative to how deep the water is you're fishing.

white catfish...tappahanock's full of em, they're great eating,but it get boring after a while it's too easy...I need something that'll get me pissed off when my 4 pound test breaks...Do you know if there's crappie at tappahanock?I seen some nice bowfin...DAMM them things are scary...how far is buggs island from Springfield?Thats where Im from

There was a crappie tourney that day...you should have seen the out-of-towners fishing it.... We were making them sick! It was a really slow day for all...I think the weather hurt us.
