  • thanks for sharing...i has a fun time watching... =)

  • I study whales and other animals I love them all.

  • If you put a cup on your ear you can hear the whales and seals outsidenote itonly works if your beside the whales and the seals!!!!!!!!!!1

  • i like turtles

  • @cheebwhacker lol

  • I think this is from Blue Planet. Amazing program.

  • i miss u from fatimahtahir

  • i miss u

  • thumbs up if you love penguins!

  • Nuke the whales!!!

  • @sapher2020 thats terrible u cant nuke them!!

    some ppl kill them

  • omg i had an assigment on antarctica and with this video's help i got an A+

  • This is a really neat video. Amazing creatures.

  • can you name all the fish in the new cadbury ad?

    watch it here.

    /watch?v=Zh-s3auYdKo

  • do penguins have wings or fins?

  • all humane weight?? does that inculed the americans?

  • @EYE2EYE00 No but I'm sure your fat fucking mom would make an exception. oh, and learn to write...

  • simon king won a BAFTA for this work in life in the freezer, well deserved.

  • whales are animals

  • while i'm not interested in getting into a full argument with you guys... P01029 is right - during the night or long winters, plant will reverse react the stored CO2...

photosynthesis is a plants way storing energy - it does have it's own vital function that need to be maintained

... admittedly though the plant does have other uses for the converted carbon molecules

  • mindblowing

  • Lmao the %age of a fart that is CO2 from humans is very small, most carbon takes the form of methane not carbon dioxide when expelled from one's rear. not to ment Hydrogen Sulphide which gives it that distinct scent...

  • P01029: Wargrin said "I'm stating the rest" because you only stated a part of a scientific fact, not the whole truth.

And "really" is not spelled with an "i".

And I am a biology and chemistry teacher!

  • Oh my god. I just read your other comment P01029. You are terribly mistaken! Trees do NOT reverse their food production in the night. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Go read a biology text book PLEASE. Or tell me your age so you can have some sort of excuse.

  • Go ask ur chem teacher :) I'm sure he/she will tell u what ur bio teacher didn't. lol

  • P01029: Animal farts do release CO2, however NOT nearly as much as cars release. And besides, the world was designed to sustain itself. In other words, the world can handle the CO2 naturally released from animals. The pollution from humans does NOT naturally occur. Therefore, the earth can't handle it as well. The earth is like a pendulum - it can come back from the extremes & regain control and balance. But when the pendulum is pushed too far - when humans pollute too much - it won't come back.

  • Has anyone done a program on krill?

  • They are all so cute! <3

  • Multi kill

  • I love krill mmmmm !!!!

  • Poor Krill :'(

  • I love animals and whales!!!

  • @Bluewhale66 omg me 2

  • Anyone hear how the blue whales are doing in 2009? Funny that the largest animal lives on some of the smallest ones (kryll). I wonder if there has been any upsurge in the numbers of 'killer whales' or decline in the numbers of other species which use trhe kryll for their major food source (baleen whales etc) since my last post five months ago. Anyone help me to find this answer? Anyone still saying global warming is a myth?

  • 'Killer whales' are currently on the decline for unknown reasons.

  • There are so many things that threaten the natural environment now from low frequency radar and comm. to chemical pollution and human predation at all levels I suspect many other species beside killer whales which are experiencing change and stress. I hope they can all survive the future human activities on the seafloor like mining and military stuff. Expect the worst and you won't be disappointed I guess...

  • dick chenney

  • THe biggest contribution to "global warming" are animals' fart. I'm serious. The whole "cars' emission" scheme was developed by green lovers and it is Bull. We all know that trees obsorb CO2 during the day, but did you know that at night, whent he sunlight is not shining down on them, their food production system reverse? THey take in Oxygen and PRODUCE CO2? So the amount of trees really dont make a fudge about the amount of CO2. It evens out anyways.

  • All living creatures trap carbon in their bodies, including trees. When they decompose some is released into the atmosphere but most is trapped in the soil or collected by living creatures.

But, when the carbon trapped in the soil over millions of years (oil, coal) is burnt, most of it is released into the atmosphere. To continue taking carbon from the soil and putting it in the air we need to start taking it from the air and putting it back in the soil.

  • if u hadn't noticed, our "fart" is release of CO2. When we eat etc...and so on. So if anyone REALLY want to stop "global warming" then kill every living animal out there that farts, which is everything except for the birds :) Although cars do contribute, it is not NEARLY as much as the farts of all the living animals.

  • Where does the CO2 in fart come from? Digesting plants and animals which have collected carbon from the air and their food. Where does it go? Back to the plants which use it with water in photosynthesis to create cells.

Where does co2 from cars and power plants come from? Long-dead plants and animals in the ground. Where does it go? The air, given that there aren't enough growing plants or plankton to absorb it all.

  • Since u hadn't noticed, I was just saying that at night, the plants have reverse photosynthesis and RELEASE CO2, so do farts. Therefore, whatever ur telling me, is realli pointless. If ur tryin to make a point, state it, because ur info i already know =.='' i am not against globalwarming nor pro global warming. Just stating the scientific fact.

  • You're stating a part of the scientific facts, I'm stating the rest. Trees don't release as much CO2 as they collect. Trees don't shrink at night, they grow using sunlight to convert CO2 in the air, minerals, and water into plant cells.

The only way for farts and reverse photosynthesis to release as much CO2 as plants and animals collect is for every tree to vaporize or be eaten, and every animal to have total indigestion so that all CO2 is released as fart before they also vaporize into the air

  • why, by any chance, are you stating the rest as to my "reply?" I dont realli need to know O_o i already do.

  • why is it so relaxing under the sea? amazing!

  • After the biggest melt in recorded history in the northern hemisphere, how are u going 2 feel when major marine species start 2 disappear?(bcos the Arctic water is too warm 4 krill 2 breed successfully, in numbers that can support human harvesting as well as supply the needs of the marine ecosystem). Please tell me why my point of view is incorrect. Will u still dismiss the current global situation as minor, when krill in the southern oceans also disappear in the next 12 months? exaggerate? NO!

  • EARTH FIRST!

We can strip mine the other planets later.

  • All I can say is.... wow

  • sind krill net tiere ?

  • Krill are washing up on the beach I

love (it faces inland). Some are alive (ouch)

but the others are dead (yuck-dead krill in

one's hair). I hate krill but am concerned for

    the whales.

  • I've never heard such a quality audio in any youtube video.

  • gotta love the beeb

  • must stink to be a krill huh...

  • hope the japanese dont get there.

  • hahahahha lol!!

  • shrs

  • more krill than human, per weight, on this planet, nice.

  • I believe their combined total weight is more than any living creature actually.

  • Close contest though. maybe :P

  • yup. as many lbs. of ppl there are, there are still more planktony things.

WARNING! PEOPLE ARE BEGINING TO FISH KRILL! THIS WILL DEPLETE THE FOOD SOURCES OF ALL THE OCEANS AND DESTROY THE FOOD CHAINS!!!

  • Thank you BBC; these programs are not always available in other countries. It is good to see them!

  • I've always read about so many animals eating krill, but I've never seen krill on film! thx BBC :)

  • thanks upload!!!
