Pop-opera - when I heard this style for the first time, I was about "WTF is this!?", but I did NOT say it was bad - I simply did not understand it. I'll tell you what's wrong with us bulgarians and krassimir. I'll try to be as clear and brief as possible. First this is a man that had worked outside Bulgaria for 10 years so he is quite unpopular in our country. Second his style of singing is extremely far away from our pop culture and I thought that the song should represent that style. Thirdly I'm 110% convinced that the vote here was manipulated, you can't have a 100 people screaming one and out of nothing choose different.
This is another perfect example of how things are done in Bulgaria. The prize goes to the highest bidder ! I hope I never again see krassimir as he has become a shame for us, a failed "singer" with questionable talent that doesn't deserve even a radio programme. He is singing only in falsetto which is laughable.
I can't comprehend the huge volume of negativism that goes toward Krassimir and his song, especially from the country he represents - Bulgaria. What's wrong with you people?! Yes, the live performance does not sound well, which is something I am surprised about since I have listened to him LIVE without many(if any) effects and his voice was incredible! I am disappointed by his live performances of this song, but the reason why he might sound terrible probably lies behind all of this negativism.
In short, he can sing (but unfortunately not this song live), he sings a different from the usual well-known styles, the song is strong in rhythm and melody, so it is one of the best to me. Your negativism + his inability to psychologically overcome it to perform live the way only he can + mics out (partially) + lack of voice coordination between the vocals (I do not know who choose them) = sad performance. He is no star anywhere! His voice is horrible live. This is NO tenor altino, this is a falset singing which nowadays is a shame to be seen on stage. People telling stories about him being a star and singing "like a god" should search for mental help and medicines. He can't sing, this is obvious, and I am not talking about the strange king of singing, I am talking about the moments, when he sings normally. The song is a total disaster, I agree. The only thing I like in it are the folk elements, it's a pity they are so few... Believe me, people from Europe, this isn't Bulgarian folk music, an original Bulgarian folk song is "Water" by Elitsa and Stoyan, not this...
The sound overall is not very good so far in the rehearsals for all the performers but this song is very interesting and I can't wait to hear it on the semifinals. It is the most unique song , brings something new to music! Good luck!

Vocally speaking, it was a total disaster. They have to fix their ballance, otherwise i think another disqualification won't be a surprise for Bulgaria.
Keep in mind that this is the rehearsal for sound check and it is first. And as far as the song is difficult and very specific with so many vocals it is normal not to be perfect, but for me disaster is an exageration. They are veryy good!
And about the song, i think is a real challenge, because it is extraordinary, I love the moment when matches the folk element and Krassimir answers with the opera. This is great .

The Woman with the long hair is Petya Buyuklieva (one of the females that has got the highest voice in Europe) and she is very famous in Bulgaria. At 2:06-2:08 you can hear her voice very well. Krassimir can't sing/reach that too high note.

I absolutely adoooooooore them. Come on guys , don't you see, this is something totally different that has everything inside. What to choose , a ballad or a dance hits, but there were thousands of song like that, but like Illusion is one of a kind. I see this not only to the final but in the top 5. And it's not true stilts had nothing to do on the stage. The name of the song is Illusion and it's about illusionary love, and the stilts are part of the illusionary world. I think it's great.

pity because this one is in my top-3 this year. Totally disappointed from this rehearsal. Main singer is very good, backing vocals AWFUL.... screaming with no synchronisation:-(

Well in Eurovision the negative opinions does not matter, only the positive ones expressed in terms of SMSs. So the song has good chances to go to the final :) Avanti Bulgaria !

And yes, let's ask Rybak or Sakis to sing Krassimirs song to see what 's gonna happen? They have hittie song, but that's it. After a year will be forgotten. Krassimir's song is classy,original and smth new! That's why there are so many controversiol reactions.

I am a professional musician and I don't see where is he out of tune! Stop telling bulshits, because it is obvious it is the most original song ever been on Euroviosion stage. 12 points from Turkey also.

Well he is actually slightly out of tune in a few places, but its a decent performances overall, to bad the backvocals suck bigtime :(
Also, some people here probably never heard a "glissando" before, perhaps they think he just cant hit the notes ;)

I absolutely adoooooooore them. Come on guys , don't you see, this is something totally different that has everything inside. What to choose , a ballad or a dance hits, but there were thousands of song like that, but like Illusion is one of a kind. I see this not only to the final but in the top 5. And it's not true stilts had nothing to do on the stage. The name of the song is Illusion and it's about illusionary love, and the stilts are part of the illusionary world. I think it's great.

The stage looks AMAZING here. I love the simplicity of the fire for this song - it really works well with it. This has to be the most difficult song to ing in this years competition and I really hope that it sounds good on the night as I would like to see Bulgaris in the final
