  • I am 16 and I am called Ruth. :( I agree with you though, I think Ruth sounds really old fashioned, most people call me Ruthie.

  • isnt willie a slang word for a male sex organ?

  • I love the name George. I think it is so cute. If I had a middle name for it. It would be on my list.

  • Jack Merivale and Laurence Olivier :)

  • i dont mind lester or willie

  • my great grandfather was born in like 1903 and his name was Charles Eliot and his wife was Vera, she did have a middle name though.

  • Trying think of some names for my baby girl so far Iv got Isabelle belle lea Leah or Paige any suggestions?

  • My uncle's name is Lester, but he just goes by Les (pronounced like 'less'). I don't think it's so bad! lol, but he is really cool, so I guess I just have a positive association with the name. lol!

  • willie OMG!!!!

  • I don't like Ruth because my name is Elizabeth and it knocked me off the list. haha. That's not the real reason. My old babysitter knew a Ruth and she had an accent that butchered the name.

  • OMG JOSEPHINE IS MY SISTERS NAME! OMG AND LAWRENCE IS MY COUSINS NAME. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

  • @muffingirl337 really not all that of a coincidence...

  • I read a book set in the early 1900s with a character named Larkin. I love Emmett, Rhett, Rosalie, and Emma.

  • I love Ada, though I've always spelled it Aida, which I think is Italian. I love Cora too. Harvey was the name of my dad's imaginary character that he would also tell us stories about.

  • I knew a Ruth in high school. Interestingly, she went by "Ruth" instead of her first name "Nancy."

  • My driver's ed teacher was named Lester. He has a 2yo named Oliver.

My friends and I always called him Lester the Molester Arrester Protester Detester. Yeah...

  • My grandmas name is josefa but we call her pepa lol and she was born in 1940s and idk if I'll like this name but my moms name is Magda which originates from Magdalena and her middle name is soledad which means sunshine... Wat do u think of the name Megan?????

  • Can u do Greek or Greek mythology names please ?? Thank you

  • i know a teenager named Mabel.

  • @GeekStinkBreath17890 so do I, i guess its getting more popular

  • In Norwegian "Lester" means "socks" so I really don't think it would be popular here :P

  • My dad (who was born in the 1950's) his name is John William!

  • Love Cora, and you've just made me fall in love with Josephine.

  • Margaret nn Maggie

    Ruth nn Ruthie

    John

    Lea

  • You should do Greek Mythology names!

    Please(:

  • My dog is named Harvey and he was named after Harvey from Sabrina the teenage witch!

  • Could you pleasepleaseplease do a video about Asian names? Preferably Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Thumbs up if you agree! :)

  • Oh, my grandmother was called Léa, too! My great grandmother was called Leanne, and is it just me, or is that, kinda modern for a woman born in the 1890's?

  • THAT SONG THANK YOU! I only knew the "up she goes, up she goes" thank you so much :D also i really look forward to the updates

  • Ruth is one of the two Bible books named after women. (The other is Esther).

  • I <3 James, Ada, Cora, Josephine, and Léa (YAY I DID THE ACCENT MARK!) i never knew how to do tat

    I love your videos!

  • I am thinking that Little Women is one of your favorite movies!

  • Do you like the name Shannon as a girl?

  • Did you hear about that couple that named their child 'Like' after the Like button on Facebook?

  • Whenever I hear "Ruth" I actually first imagine a woman in her mid twenties. Not sure why. I quite like it, actually. :)

And I love the name Josephine!

  • I think Willie sounds cute, but only as a nickname for Willa (Although if I had a daughter named Willa I'd probably call her William all the time just to annoy her!), Josephine is cute, and I'd use Joey as a nickname, but only because it's unique and because it does sound femine it's own weird way. And I love the name Ruth! I used to read these mystery books when I was little and one of the main characters name was Ruth Rose, and I loved it!

  • I actually could picture a girl names Willie. I think it's kinda cute:)

  • My great aunt's name is Ada! Definitely plan to use it some how in the future...i love it!

  • i know a lester he goes by Chad tho

  • aw i liked when you sang :)

  • The reason I love Ruth is because I was obsessed with 7th Heaven when I was younger, and it kinda stuck with me :) I love Ada, especially as a nickname for Adelaide or Adeline. Cora is beautiful. Josephine is one of my favourites, with the nickname Posey. Jack is extremely popular in New Zealand, but I still love it! Haha, my husband's grandfather's name was Lester, I hate it! Great video :)

  • Mo-lester, lol! That definitely shouldn't come back EVER. Willie could be a nickname for Willa. Wilhemina is just as bad as Willie on a girl imo. Willa I kinda like though.

  • I love Ada sooo much! It's in my top ten for sure! And Cora is in my top 5! :) I also really like Josephine and Jack! I'm a titanic finatic :)

  • All of the baby names are so old-fashioned!

  • @sarahedwards2 Hehe that's because I'm talking about popular names from the year 1900 to the year 1909 in this video :)

  • @AnastasiaRuby

I ADORE all of these names! :)

  • I find Jack kinda boring, way too overused - although not as much as John, William, etc... Willie on a girl is definitely unfeminine, its usually a nickname for William

  • YAY for the 7th Heaven shout out!! WOO!

  • My husband was just telling me how much he liked your VLOGS (especially with Jordan), but not the name videos so much... and then he was getting ready to leave the room when you started the "names that will probably never ever come back into style" and he stopped bc he had to hear it! lol. Then he emphatically agreed with Lester and WIllie. hahaha. GJ.

  • I love James and Charles! Although, I'm falling out of love with James.

  • I know a girl named Coralee. And a girl named Amelia-Josephine. Her nickname is Ame -Jo pronounced "Amy Joe.." =]

  • Ruth is one of my alltime fave names! I love that it means friend/companion :) Ada's amazing,a nd one of my friends actually has a baby niece with this name, though I do prefer the biblical Adah spelling. Harvey is so cute, it's one of the names I'm planning on using in my book :) Lawrence is fab!! Little Women makes me love it as well :)) I actually know a pair of 5-ish y/o twins named Keith and Lester :/ Faves of your family members: Mabel, George, and Alfred.

  • i love watching your videos!!! :D

  • HArvey is my dads middle name lol awful. thomas harvey lol
