My view......If they HAVE to move i'd like them to move closer or around Oakland. If they can get that hook up in Fremont let them move but keep the name "Oakland A's" I dont want the "Fremont A's", or the "San Jose A's" Keep it Oakland!

While other stadiums have completely rebuilt and renovated their sites to keep pace with the new paradigm, Oakland has "evolved" by band-aiding their way through these changes and the presentation aspect and sporting events held there are suffering.

Either the Oakland A's evolve to keep pace with current entertainment tastes or face extinction here in the Bay Area - it's as simple as that.

The way baseball is presented in the 21st Century has totally changed. I recently attended games at both the parks in Phoenix (Diamond backs) and Washington DC (Nationals) and the experience is amazing - I liken it to an updated 1930's Carnival with a Baseball game as its star attraction. Oakland' s stadium is basically a circa late 60's and 70's stadium entertainment concept stuck in this past.

LA just approved to build a new NFL stadium. Looks like the Raiders are most likely a possible candidate to relocate out of Oakland.

Thanks for posting this. I like the idea, I knew about there idea for the uptown plan which I liked the most but this idea looks great too, anything to keep the A's in Oakland is good to me.
