Just to let you guys know, this game didn't try to copy that horrible game steal-your-quarters game "Final Fight". This actually copied Konami's Crime Fighters, and is way better than Final Fight in nearly every way, shape, and form.
What a POS*** ending, just on roll the credits. If this was in a real arcade, seeing that ending, I'd smash a fist through the screen (poom) and get my money's worth.
@MALDASF Well that is why I hate Capcom- They always come up with the new genres before someone else tries to. That is why I honor and like the Underdog companies like SNK and Taito a lot better than the ultimately famous ones like Capcom, Nintendo or Konami.
@MALDASF Well, I do got to admit- I do love their Mega Man games as well as some of the NON-Vs. Fighting games on the CPS2 hardware. But I have more respect towards the Underdog than the famous companies.
Tom Anderson is a badass. And even though this is indeed a Final Fight ripoff, I bought it for the Wii virtual console and actually enjoyed it a bit. I also bought Final Fight 2, which was a pile of crap. (I hope the first game was better). Oh, and Streets of Rage 3. Blech. And the first game was so good...
The whole "Blech" thing was probably because they screwed with it when they localized it for the US and Europe. It was probably better in the Japanese version.
