Pretty much.  Doubt he'd know the difference between a flauta and a tostada. (Granted, I'm not not Mexican, but I'm engaged to first-generation. I teach her grill stuff, she teaches me the oven. I make her burgers and whole grilled chickens, she makes me frijoles and carnitas).

Actually "CHALUPAS" do exist. They consist in a small to medium size "TORTILLA" deeply fried and with beans, beef, hoy sauce and other things added on top.

Also "GORDITAS" are a very popular and traditional dish in central Mexico. They are stuffed with fried pork skin (CHICHARRÓN), beans, many forms of cheese, potatoes (not french potatoes) etc.

I disagree with his improvisation and advice this guy to read and investigate before saying stupid and moronic things like that.
