mäletan jumalahästi seda päeva kui ma olin 11 ja ma mängisin nendega pärnus muusikaauhindade jagamisel , ma mängisin seal tsellot lõpus , nad on tzillid inimesed
I dont' like metal in general. But here the kinematography, the stills and the whole idea (however gruesome) is played out great. Fantastic camerawork and composition. I love it. I guess only ethnic estonians get the whole scope here but even without the background info it is a very, very good work. Artistically. Not too much bohemic secrecy or sophistication yet not too plain slap-in-the-face, neither. Cunning and subtle.
@TerraMariana: can you explain the video for those of us who are not Estonian? I also found it pretty awesome, but I didn't quite get it and I want to understand what they meant
it´s realted to the Great deportation in Estonia on 25 March 1949. The Soviet Russians deported 20,000 people from E to Siberia. Mostly, the victims were country people. The photos remind the happy era of pre-WW II, and the suitcases are very common symbol of deportation in Estonian film visuals.
This video reminds me of the Type O Negative's "Everything Dies" video. I suppose the scene with members of a family sitting on a table and disappearing one at a time is inspired from it. Still, an outstanding video from one of the bands that takes black metal a step forward.
Tervitused Ameerikast, Lugu on igati asjalik kuid pean samuti mainima, et video ei olnud loole kohane - isiklikult oleksin tahtnud naha bandi mehi ennast mangimas jne... kuid pange samas vaimus edasi sest ega pead selleparast norgu saa lasta. Metal Rules !!!
I agree with you. Excellent song about death. "Haavad Uulitsal" means "wounds of the street". It's simply Art! Great video. I'm enchanted.

Väga hea lugu! Kahju ainult, et ma osadest röögitud sõnadest ise aru ei saa ja et netis kah kuskil sõnu üleval pole.

This song about unexpected death, actually. But one can easily relate the imagery of video to Soviet deportation (in 1940).
