I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's not his aging that's making him sing a little weak here, it's the fact that he's trying to sing something high and quiet at the same time without going falsetto. It's difficult haha.

I really like the gritty recording. I hate it when things are overproduced, plus it's sort of a salute to the original since they didn't have a fantastic studio for TAYF.
