Certainly the European Union will never legislate to exclude the UK or anyone else, they won't even throw Greece out for breaking the rules, it's up to them to leave. Being a member or not being a member is a domestic issue. Godfrey needs to go home and talk to a real MP.

These regional variances will happen at every level, if you break up the EU because of this then your argument logically extends to cutting off the North East from England and Wales from the UK. What do you imagine the EU has done with all the fish then? I dont live in or know fully about England but all i can say is that you cannot compare the different places in England with different places in Europe because England is a sovereign country and Europe is a continent not a country. Greece does not need to be subsidised, by anybody, all it needs is to have ability to devalue its own currency to boost exports and help recover its economy. Surely you have heard of The Drachma? You know that Greece had a currency but they could not manage it, going back to that era will not help Greece. Even in the 1830's Greece was bailed out by Russia, France and England. The EU is the only reason Greece has remained functioning for the last thirty years.

@NumberDne It was I RedGoblinus that stated "The European Union must die so that European freedom can live." European Unionists such as 'MagicMushroomCloud95' would never state such truth. The European Union is led by known criminals, liars and traitors and judging by the arm movements of Herr Martin Schulz-staffel he is an EU loving Hitlerite.

But can you believe what he said about making money out of the greeks and irish? absolutely sickens me to the core. its just crazy how two world wars are not enough to warn people against a power centralised EU unification. It always ends up being us who have to sort it out and pick up the peaces. how many more lives will be lost this time?

The current German dominated EU will eventually collapse under the weight of its own legislative bullshit just as the old German dominated EU collapsed under the weight of the RAF and USAAF bomber offensive and the onslaught of Stalin's Red Army. The European Union must die so that European freedom can live.

Ah of course, I see the connection now. Hitler also peacefully signed treaties of economic cooperation with Germany's neighbors. No, he didn't set up military regimes, he established a pan-European parliament where all nations of Europe were represented. You're right, Hitler was exactly like the EU, especially because the EU was founded by men like Charles de Gaulle and Konrad Adenauer, who had spent years of their lives fighting Hitler.

@MagicMushroomCloud95 Don't try to rewrite history to suit your agenda. The European Union was not founded by Charles de Gaulle and Konrad Adenauer. The European Union was founded in the 1990s not the 1950s.
