Point of Order: "Darkwing/s" is the name of the combined Jet modes of Dreadwing and Darkwind.

There are even a few fan modes of "Darkwing "circulating the net of these 2 (2007 Dreadwing and Toy's R Us Darkwind) right now and they dont look bad at all. Perhaps look into it a show us a vid?

I agree with a lot of other people that his robot mode looks great. Although they did a really nice bot accurate Silverbolt, he looks better as Darkwing. The Original character toy from the 80s was not much different in transformation either, a robot with a jet on his back. I might actually buy this one.

yeah his jet mode isn't all that but his bot mode imo looks better than the botcon version. And the way he transforms with the head popping up, very Danguard Ace like, very cool. they should have made his launching missile also become his sword.

Happy birthday man. My Toys R' Us is now stocking both this guy and Silverbolt and comparing the two I think thia guy looks so much better. To me Silverbolt looks way too plain so I'll no doubt pick up Darkwing instead. Fantastic review as always, I would recommend Countdown, I know he's a re-colour as well but he is a really nice looking toy.

One of the best executed redecos in a long time, these colors and the mold ultimately work great for the character. A new head would've really brought it home but it's not bad as is.
