Loved all the game reviews that you did makes me think of witch games I should get later, but to me Skyrim wasn't an interesting game for me because of the major mono log and the fact you got to explore a lot of the areas and you can't just fast move like you did in Oblivion. It can be bought for certain peoples taste none the less but you need to have a lot of time and patience with the game like Demon/Dark Souls.

Guys i love Skyrim and Batman but in my opinion skyrim is a lot richer gameplay than batman. Although, I was satisfied with the choice its comparing two different things in my opinion they are equally good. Its like comparing steak and pizza love them both but can't choose one over the other.

Phil, what you failed to take into account was how long you played all of your game choices. I haven't done the math, but I'm sure all the other videos of your playthroughs for top ten goty combined are either not as much as skyrim, or rather close. You also played skyrim last, which means you most likely already had a swayed opinion. Skryim is an awesome game, as are the other goty nine,but you're way off in your time allotted for each game for critiques. Skyrim was also developed longer.

Skyrim has the most content of any game this year. Also, just because Skyrim was developed longer is no excuse for other games. Bethesda just puts time and effort into this game and thats why it was devolped for this long. Also, Phil did do like 10-20 extra parts of B: AC to return to it, so dont say he didnt play the others to their full

Phil failed to realize this completely. You SHOULD take into account how long it took to make, because there should never be a game which takes how long Skyrim took compared to a game how long Arkham city took to make in comparision with each other, goty isn't just about gameplay, because games are art.

@redfalconfox I agree that the amount of content is not what matters, but it is the quality of the content, and Skyrim delivered on that. Dont get me wrong, I loved Arkham City, and it definitely deserved #2, but Skyrim's content, and the quality of it, and how it never seems to get boring, makes it the GOTY. Also, Skyrim was devolped as long as it was because of all those reasons, and I never said that you shouldnt take into account the amount of time it took to make.

Phil wasnt a very good Batman, he never used grapnel boost in the playthrough, hardly used any gradgets in combat and wasnt stealthy as the batman should be, instead he would go in all guns blazing and get shot down. He would blame the game when he died becasue he wouldnt follow the games hints. In my opinion its good he didnt choose Arkham City as goty because he didnt play the game to its full potential and was a shitty batman. Arkham city is polished and is my GOTY skyrim had too many bugs.
