  • @SnowboardProCamp

For allot more tips on how to do snowboard tricks, check out the snowboard video's on the name above!

  • I'm just going to sum it all up for you all! When people say to sart big and its the highest rated comment it might mean something. And also if you have been skateboarding or skiing than it might be a little easier to get used to than people who have never done anything like that before(like me lol)!! But where ever you start, make sure you keep control of your board and then you can earn all this cool stuff!! thx!! :))

  • hi my name is fat mans penis

  • dude im going there today

  • hi my name is matts fatpenis

  • HI MY NAME IS MATT VANS ANUS!!!

  • if you french fry when you want to pizza your going to have a bad time

  • @arctyler YOUR A FAGGET!

  • @MrDontTouchME69 your cool

  • matt big penis?

  • I just got a snowboard today for Christmas and I need help. Should I star on a medium hill or small hill. I'm nervous!

  • dude he almost got knocked out by that guy behind him :D

  • best snow boarding trick right on my chan

  • 0:53 LOL

  • 1:12 is hilarious

  • @Metalmandy8 skiing is probably a better fit for you if you have balance issues, having both feet attached definately isn't for everyone :)

  • I went a few times this last season.. and hated it by the end.. D: next year i'm going to try to ski xD... and if that fails i give up on winter sports.

  • once again dont start small snowboarding! if you dont have enough speed to make a turn you will fall, most bunny hills dont provide you with the incline/speed to make correct turns. on a bunny hill you might get 3 or 4 turns in.

  • thanks sooo much very helpful and makes u feel confident!

  • funny if it was a random kid ! lol

  • Did that kid almost ??? hahahaha !! anyways prolly just wants to be in the video tada !!!

  • racja

  • pierdoli zamias pokazać..

  • I let a goat lick my hand ttoday at the Zoo, it kinda creeped me out when i started feeling turned on by it lol

  • No, don't start small! You learn faster if you hit the biggest hill first!

  • @broski1993 True shit .. on the big hills its more like learn or die !

  • @broski1993 no that is not smart

  • i did a black diamond as my first hill cause i didn't know anybetter...just about died but i learned fast @broski1993

  • lol at that party crasher at :54

  • I only did snowboard once and i have the balance but i don't know how to trun or break, can somone tell me please?

A little tip from me: if you are loosing control don't freak out and start shaking!

  • @troidberg to break you simply center your body stance, easiest way to do this is raise your arms so both your hands are at shoulder hight, and bend your knees. On your heel edge you'll feel your heel pressing into the snow, that friction will slow you down, the more you bend your knees the faster you will break. On your toe edge do the same and feel your toes press into the ground. To speed up, straighten your legs and feel your feet and board flatten out, the flatter the board, the faster.hth

  • from 0:54 to 1:03 i was just watching the guy in the background :DDdd

  • LOL i was too. crazy guy

  • In a few days, I'm going to snowboard for the first time! Does anybody have some tips/tricks for me?!

  • be prepared to fall A LOT. You'll probably fall when getting off the lift too. And really start small. Instead of getting speed, just focus on keeping your board under control. The first thing you should learn is how to break using your heel edge.

I just started two days ago, and I highly recommend you start this way. I didn't know what I was doing so I went through a lot of hard, unnecessary falls before I figured out that I should start by learning to brake.

  • same here +1

  • @bhh1988 well like they say you gotta know what falling feels like. You can never become good with out failing.

  • @bhh1988 The first time I went boarding I was ripped. Not the best to learn something new stoned but I think I did okay. You're right though, just focus on working on your heel and then try to work your way to carving. Learn how to fall properly, basically breaking your fall with your forearms as opposed to putting pressure on your hands and wrist which would burn you at the end.

  • @bhh1988 im a freestyle skier been skiing for 6 years just started freestyle skiing this year and i picked up a snowboard as a joke the other day hoped on it didnt fall getting off the lift went to the hill and could carve perfectly fine on a black diamond taking it slow is stupid it makes u feel more afraid u just gotta go!

  • find a relatively small hill and just try to go straight. Always keep your knees bent. When you turn, don't start freaking out and get all stiff. I know it's scary but that's just how it is at first. Buy good boots and binding. Keep your shoes and binding tied good, nothing loose. Use a short snowboard no matter what anybody tells you! Pick a board that is up to your chest. Preferably to your rib line. I am 6 feet and I ride that way. Shorter boards are easier to control.

  • 1)just ride dont worry about other people behind you, focus on whats happening in front

2)dont spend time on the greens, you will get hit by little kids and people who have no control,

  • lol yes go straight to black diamond , who needs greens or blues. Don't listen to this guy unless you want to get hurt. Greens are plenty steep for someone that has no control of the board

  • lol im going this Wednesday first time without ever riding a skateboard was it hard tell me plz im scared to death

  • Learn how to ski first.

  • @Eddybtherider I wouldn't. Try skateboarding first

  • Skateboarding and snowboarding are almost two completely different things. Skiing is easier to learn and will get you used to the snow

  • your a retard, all these guys do know shit! and no one is going to think your'e all that because you skied at the stupid Apls

  • @blubspunk

i think mt. everest would be the hardest.

  • u cant learn to snowboard unless u do it!! Also these guys dont know a shit cause they've probably never skied in the most advanced place, the alps

  • @Blubspunk dude skieing?? and ur bragging about sking in the alps?? ur such a pussy. go to the fing andes and now talk

  • i live in saginaw michigan

  • @scarcearbiter04

i live in howell michigan. do u like alpine valley??

  • wow, what was the point of him making this. it sucks. but snowboarding lives on to be the best sport.

  • this video is terrible if i was just learning i would have no clue how to ride still, best way to learn is to actually watch someone riding, not standing strapped in on the flat pretending to ride

  • 0:55 i was hoping he was going to hit him haha

  • lol, but it would be better if a midget came and head butted him in the balls

  • haha me too.

  • 420,000 420

  • this is the first expert village video i actually like ^.^

  • haha 0:57

  • haha i know haha

  • m8 just take a wide board

  • can anyone tell me if my boots sticking off the board approximately an inch offboth sides of the board will matter? they say it will in theory. but does anyone have a situation like that and not notice it? im a size 10.5 and the board im using is not wide.

  • it depends on how u ride, if u turn a lot and ur more comfortable on toeside, if ur boots overhang ur board it will catch the snow n kinda mess u up imo

  • A wide board is way too unresponsive. A little toeing is acceptable. Im about 3/4 inch over front and back but i can turn easier and my boots are 11.5.

  • yea man, my buddy has a size 10 boot and rides wide, i have size 11 and i ride wide as well, once u reach 9.5 its a good idea to grab a mid-wide or wide board

  • did he say his name is Matt needspenis

  • he said matt vansteenis xD

  • and again. I have done it about guitar, skating football.. Lol : D DONT COMMENT TO ME IF YOOU GOT NOTHING TO SAY!!!!!!"!"!"!

  • cant wait, leaving sunday for 3days snowboarding, 1st time :D

  • "all snowboarders are just wannabes"

i copied tht from ur other post and if u dont believe me then u can check for urself but yes u did call all snowboarderders r wannabees if that is wat ur askin

  • hahaha i remember the first day i went out snowboarding. haha turned toe side and caught an edge and tumbled down a large part of the mountain

  • oh man i went sking first and went to the top probably my 10th time going down lol it wasnt a black diamond or anything but still lol

  • haha i couldnt stay up for 5 seconds when i started but i got better, being good at snowboarding just takes a lot of experience. and i didnt do it cause everyone else did it i just went out cause i love being with my friends and now i just love snowboarding

  • at about 0:55 the kid in the background comes close to ending this vid early.

  • Comment removed

  • everyone but you is a wannabe right? I can guarantee when you first started you were a "fail". Just because people started liking something doesnt nessacarily make them a poser that hopped on the bandwagon. Really Bro? Snowboarding is one of the fastest moving sports on the planet

  • the best way to learn is to just go out and practice

  • watch out 4 ice cuz that could make u catch a edge and fall hard... face plant

  • whose goal?

  • schlecht ! langsam starten :D

nach 3 tagen konnte ich die steilste piste in österreich und im funpark !

  • Snow is soft, but if you hit it with 30 m/h it's not gonna be so soft anymore.

Besides, slopes don't really have snow that soft, it's all a bit harder.

  • Nice video, thanks for sharing, Im a beginner...

  • Whoa, the dude nearly ran into him with his board.

  • look... give the guy a break. he's just trying to help. im not saying its good help but hes still trying. and btw michigan snowboarding is still sick!

  • 0:56 lol omg what is he thinking!

  • haha nooob

  • Think of it like this, snow is made of water, and when did anyone get hurt by water? :P

  • when people drown, and thats meant to be the worst way to die : |

  • true but drowning is different, i meant like when you're having a water fight or something.

  • water fight fail! lol

  • it's easy to get hurt on snow ... i broke my coller bone and dislocated my right arm from crashing on the snow with bad whiplash.............. but if u start small you dont hurt yourself as much .. with snowboarding you commit yourself and expect a crash

  • That's pretty retarded. Water is one of the most deadliest earthly forces. And snow too; Avalanches, Ice pack etc.

  • lame!!!!!!

  • okee you can hurt yourself on snowboarding, thats right, but compare it with skateboarding. when u skate and its smashing u really hard on the ground, its over vor the next days, maybe weeks.

when it happens while snowboarding, u can easily stand up and go on..

sry for bad english but i think u know what i mean.

  • shut up snows not soft!

  • oke i dont know where ur boarding, but usually snow is really soft. when ur boarding on an mainstream mountain, where the snow is pressed to ice, its not soft..

  • 0:56 ahahahahah

  • u prolly just suck my first day i was hittin kickers, sum grabs, flat rails,

the only really major injury i ever got frm boardin was brokeen arm not sum pusy shit

broken pinky haha get sum balls bitch

  • Psh... I'll snowboard circles around you.

  • thts about all u can do bitch!

  • Next time you're in Utah hit me up and I'll show you what snowboarding's all about. Bitch.

  • I dont think its all about falling! Bitch.

  • nah, skateboarding is totally diff from snowboarding. i learned that when i got on my first snowboard this past winter. i think the trick to learning snowboarding ,if your used to skating, is to completely forget that you ever rode a skateboard. i know it's hard and sad to do but it seems like the only way.

  • Lol my first time i went to the very top of the mountain lol

  • Ah, don't give up. Keep your knees bent and keep it pointed down hill. You will conquer!

  • i hear a little kid going "AAAAAAAAH"

  • im goin on sunday to learn!!!

  • cool will it be your first?

  • yuppp! and im going with my best friends!

  • noob

  • hi i just rented a snowboard

are the toes of the boots supposed to stick out off the edge of the board??

if not how do i adjust bindings?????

  • well you cant realy if they only stick out 12 inches than your good but if not then maby try to get a wider board?

  • if i hold the board upside down i can see the toes a little bit but i dont think its alot

i rented it from pelican so i think i mite be fine

  • no... a lot of rental shops have no clue how to do set ups. Even the burton Demo shop ppl can't set a board right. to Adjust your binding know your own liking unscrew them and reset them. To move your toes back. move the binding back. If your heals stick out to much even when the bindings are centered than you need a snowboard that's a wide. or larger bindings.

  • ok thnx for ur help guys

i also learned the hard way why u link turns going down the hill instead of going straight :S lol

  • 0:46 lol zal

  • just got back from the rockies alberta canada lol sunshine resort im here till tomrrow

  • im going out today first time in the season

  • Can anyone please give me advice on turning toeside please? It seems as though if I try to turn regulary heelside or toeside I end up doing a complete 180. Adivce please?

  • advice that got me started- for turning in either direction. use your upper body to aim your turn. only when you bend you knees will you turn. the more you exadurate this, the sharper the turn will be. you aim with your leading shoulder. think of this when you watch a snowboarding clip if you dont get it.

  • Thanks for the advice.

I'll try it out today on the slopes.

Do you think I should do it on the bunny or on a bigger green slope?

  • the bunny is a good idea. I remember going down a red run too soon and I got frustrated. seeing a big slope can be off putting. but just remember to first turn with the upper body, then bend those knees to complete the turn. soon you'll be carving it up to the max!

  • Just got back from hittin up the slopes in good ol' Keystone Colorado :)

If uve ever heard of it there is a green run that goes from the top of the mountain its about a 3mile long run I was carvin it up today over there thanks to ur advice. Now I just gotta work on alternating between heelside-toeside. Thanks so much! for the advice!
