Islam is not a religion. However Western legal systems can never deal with this fact, permanently paralyzed, forever divided and confused by the concept of Trojan Horse, until, of course, the "peace of Islam" reigns worldwide.
Islam is more like the Borg, and probably was the inspiration to the Star Trek nemesis.
Prepare for worldwide civil wars. Look at Europe today compared to 20 years ago, and then imagine all the West in another 20 years. Unless of course we learn to define ourselves.

From that starting point, there can be gatherings and support groups ("organized religion") but only to the point where it helps us to manifest this advanced state of awareness into our daily lives. @YourFavouritMusic When "religion" becomes a mechanism for others to have power over others then it is no longer religion but politics. That is the Western view, which only could have happened had Christianity become relegated to its own sphere in life and not politics. Orthodox Judaism has a way to go as well. However political Islam seems to exert the most repressive political force (rules for daily life dominated by the religion), which enslaved people. Religion should not be doing that.

It idoes not allow for taking the side of non-muslims.... Even if the "liberal" or moderate muslim exist, they will be persecuted by the MAIN STREAM muslims (which is a false flawed ideology).
