I remember playing this on our family's old NES as a kid. since My Dad was the only one who could actually make it far in the game A and Game B modes I mostly spent My time designing tracks, I remember each time I would just put a bunch of the straight mountains with the chains and dirt underneath them all until there was no more room for any more of them, good times, and since I have no other version of it that's portable I guess that justifies Me getting the 3D Classics version on 3DS.

This isn't the actual fifth course. It's the qualifier for the fifth course. When you first select a course from the menu, you're taken to the qualifier and you have to finish in the top three in order to qualify for the real course. The actual fifth course has a lot more obstacles and is significantly harder than this. Still, nice driving!

Because you can't do it.... it must be a cheat? Try harder. After you hit the ramp, hold forward until just before you land, then pull back slightly. Follow it up by holding forward again and pulling back slightly before landing. Practice and you'll get it
