  • I agree; I don't believe that December 25 is Jesus Christ's birthday; however, I do believe that we are to live every breathing moment in observation of his sacrifice.

  • Good point. To me, it doesn't matter when he was actually born. The point that we remember his birth and what his coming means for us. I wouldn't care if we celebrated it on Oct. 31.

  • With that i totaly agree, but God spesifically said He hates idol worship and if there an idol in ones home he must hate it? Christmas is a pagan worship day and ritual its out of hell and inspired by the devil to decieve people! thats not my opinion its facts. Please lok into it all you people, its a trap set by the devil himself!

  • so if u celebrate christmas for God and Jesus and not pagan beliefs and lies about santa, then u arent doing anything wrong to God. in fact I think its nice 2 hve good family memories while doing a nice Christian thing like rembering jesus

  • I 100% agree Christmas is a pagan holiday but like the Bible says about eating meat that was offered to false gods, the basic story is this guy who is gonna eat some meat that people did to honor a false God, but he is christian, so he asked God what to do, He replies saying basically if u eat the meat and in ur heart its 2 a false God its sin, if u are just eating the meat, then u have done nothing wrong..,

  • what would the idol in your point be?

  • About that tree behind you, please go read Jer 10, its a pagan idol! God hates idol worship, get rid of it or stop preaching in the name of Jesus. I dont follow men, i follow the word of God, and according to His word, christmas and everything around it is idol worship, Acts 15:20 KJV. Please go and reconsider what is said here and get rid of the idols as Joshua did! God bless those that does what He says...go and listen to His word!!

  • Jer. 10 is talking about idols that are crafted out of wood. Pay attention to the context, it will help you understand the passage.

  • Christmas is not the birthday of Jesus, its an ancient day for sunworship made "christ mass" by the roman catholics wich is not a christian church!

  • Good advice. Thanks for watching.

  • Great video, excellent reminder. If people want to serve, but don't have a clue where to start, contacting your church is always a good idea. The Red Cross also has piles of volunteer ops, as will many local universities.

  • Fab, Thanks for that Mike, thats really helpful. When you started i was fairly sure you would use that passage, but i had never thought of it in the Christmas context before. Thank you very much. A blessed Christmas and a Happy new year to you!

  • When I wanted to make the point of how we could give a gift to Jesus it was the first scripture that came to mind.

  • great video Mike...you deliver an excellent message...

  • Thank you.

  • A truly blessed video Mikey. Thanks!

  • Thanks for watching.

  • Aaaaah the Pagan tradition of Christmas has come once again. Where we make our yearly sacrifice to the god of gluttony and greed.

I don't knock those who choose to follow the pagan tradition but again I won't keep my mouth shut about it either. I am though in agreement with you Mike, we need to direct the money to the people who truly need it not fill the coffers of self greed. Jesus said lay up your treasure in heaven not build these castles made of sand here on earth.

  • Well, I agree that the overall observation of Christmas has been distorted to say the least, but I don't share your disdain of the Holiday. Regardless of when Jesus was actually born and regardless of pagan holidays, those who worship Jesus in spirit and truth are indeed remembering and celebrating his birth and there is nothing wrong with that.

  • i do not knock you for it, we can disagree and yet agree.

  • Hi ya Mike.......great video. Often if I see a homeless person out and about I'll offer to take them to eat. I've never had anyone tell me no. Also, another thing that I've been a part of is going to nursing homes and youth offender detention centers. They so much need to hear someone loves them. And no one loves them like Jesus does. And as you said, there are so many, more than can be mentioned here, ways to give to the least of them.

  • Glad to hear it, Jim. If we all did a little of that the world would be a much better place.

  • Amen... we should celebrate God's Birthday 365 days a year.. celebrate him every single day. Great Message Bro!

  • Thank you and Amen!

  • Very very Very true...nice video

  • Thank you.
