  • Great video evike but it would help if the quality was better.

  • What is the small metal piece that you refer to at 1:28? I have a CA36K and have misplaced that small metal piece and am having a hard time finding a replacement part to buy online.

  • I cant see a good angle of the trigger and I cant remember how to put the trigger back in there because when I put the trigger in the trigger is loose and doesnt stay, Im pretty sure theres a spring thats supposed to be used with it but I cant figure out how to put it in there.

  • I need a gun doc for my G36 gearbox :(

  • will all g36 or mk36 cylinders fit in it?

  • @frostheat246 no I bought a guarder FTK and it does not fit :(

  • @carter3278 is it the Guarder Bore-Up Cylinder Set for G36 Series Airsoft AEG Guarder Bore-Up Cylinder Set for G36 Series Airsoft AEG? Also what is the model and maker of you're gun? Because that part I just listed can fit all g36 series. Remember MK36 is the same as G36 so this one might help.

  • These videos are so helpful sence i just got into airsoft and I have a g36c thank u so much evike

  • I have a TSD/SRC XM8 and my selecter plater broke in the middle. I have a replacement but do not know how to attach it. May you please explain that process to me

  • Because the spring in this is attached to the piston head, does that mean I can't put a silent piston head in without a new piston? or can I even replace the piston without attaching the spring? If I don't attach spring does it still need the metal piece in the spring? Sorry for all of the questions but im new to working on AEGs so if you could rely to this that would be great. Thanks.

  • quick question. i was being and idiot and stripped the gears on my JG G36K. Which gears on Evike should i replace them with ( a $40 option plz :P)

  • how could i make a request a guide for the tar 21... the olny one ive seen is in french.

  • @shadowstriker987, the same thing happened to me. Please post a video of how to assemble the trigger assambly part. Please. Y cant airsoft guns be a lot more similar!!!!!

  • If i have a JG G608 model does all of this apply to me?

  • Comment removed

  • i wish i was a pro with this stuff :(

  • hi, I was doing great until the trigger assembly flipped out and now I have a piece that I have no idea where it goes. so could you maybe do another video about the trigger assembly, or at least a close up picture of the trigger assembly. It would be most appreciated! thanks so much!

  • Sry I ment vid not CID

  • Dude u and this CID helped me out a lot I am so glad ecike has these voss on their website.

Thx side keep up ur good work

  • Can you reassembly the trigger assembly I accidentally took mine apart

  • Can you do a gearbox re assembly? My spring blew the plastic pieces everywhere :3

  • Guys, do you have any tricks of holding a spring inside gearbox, when trying to install powerful spring (>=150). When I was installing 125 spring - it was really a pain to hold this all while I am trying to close the gearbox.

  • another question do i need to use metal bushings if i upgrade to a 9.6v 1600

  • hey i have a stock jg mk36 and I want to put a bigger spring in it. what is the biggest i can go with out having to deal with it wearing the crap out of the internals ;) thanks

  • @a7xsyngatescustom put a better airflow nozzle, you will notice a 5-10 fps increase causing no damage to the gun

  • These videos make it look so much easier than it actually is.

  • great vid, how the hell did you keep the anti-reversal latch to stay in place for more than 5 min? God I HATE that piece...

  • after watching this video it was easy except the trigger part, im still confused there and i cant find a video that helps

  • @HippieHunta

I know that triggers such a pain to get in :( I'm stuck reasembling ther too, so if you get any news, let me know.

  • What all should I upgrade if I'm going to put in an m120 spring?

  • @jevensen93 what gun do you have and have you done any upgrades so far?

  • @martinairsoft123 my bad i have the jg mk36k i haven't done any upgrades yet

  • @jevensen93 get a metal spring guide a new piston and piston head and a new cylinder head, and a reinforced gearbox shell

  • thanks dude for making a decent vid for my g36

  • i did what the vedio said and when i put it back together the gun fired really slowly. and it got really hot. what is wrong?

  • yo. i did what the vedio said but when i put it back together the gun fires really slowly. what is wrong?

  • Yeah definately cant wait to get the JG MK36

  • Gear Grease?? Where can I get that??

  • @kimberly2488 any airsoft website

  • Do you happen to have a video on shimming/new gear installation?

  • best tutorial i've seen gj

  • also where your plastic parts are a sort of yellow plastic mine is black like the selector plate, piston head and piston. this gun was sold to me as a jg is it so

  • hi. i took mine apart but am having endless trouble. it now seems to lock up the gearbox. also when i put it on auto it soots in semi. but that was before it started locking up

  • maybe your fire selector switch isn't seated properly? Its the little thing that moves back and forth when you select auto and semi and stuff. Your auto is probably semi and your semi is probably safety.

  • my g36 will not shoot on semi now and ive only had it for 3 days please help

  • Id go withthe JG G36c i got it for 125 off airsoftgi it works very well and is accurate shoots around 400 FPS

  • ive been playin a little airsof t in the backyard and am just getting started but im tired of pistol wars and i want an electric rifle...but i have no clue what to get by what brand...i need something between thts 140 at the most, being young theres a very tight budget, I REALLY NEED HELP!!

  • jg m4 no question

  • echo 1 g36c very good aeg . really cheap too just round 150. bought it as my first aeg

  • @SprtnG667

get a jg g36c. JG is the same exact thing as echo 1, echo1 just rebrands the them and charges $30 more for them

  • $140? Get an M4.

  • @dakkenly m4's are overrated and over-used.

  • @captaingradetwo That's weird, because it's the standard gun for the army. Must suck then.

  • @dakkenly you wouldnt believe how unreliable it really is. during a test, the military fired 60,000 rounds from an m4 and it jammed almost 900 times. the scar, xm8, and hk 416 COMBINED had only 575 stoppages. it amazes me we still use the weapon despite its severe unreliability

  • @captaingradetwo You wouldn't believe how comparably cheap and comfortable to use it is.

  • @dakkenly id rather have a gun that is reliable, like the H&K G36, than something that is comfortable. even still, having held both, i think the G36 is more comfortable than an m4. but in the end, the m4 is an unreliable gun that i would never trust my life to because of that fact

  • @captaingradetwo I'm just saying, should the army pay $8 million for M4s for everyone or $20 million?

  • @dakkenly neither. they should be buying weapons that wont jam or break in the field instead of some cheaply built piece of crap. our troops are in life and death situations every day, but you try and justify a garbage rifle solely on the fact it is cheaper? im honestly at a loss for words on how horrible that really is

  • @captaingradetwo Leme ask this-how did they execute your little test? I'm sure they didn't clean/used the same M4 for all the rounds. And 900 rounds out of 60k? Having a gun jam on you once in your military career won't get you killed being stupid will.

  • @dakkenly in the test the military had 10 of each rifle type, each firing 6,000 rounds for a total of 60,000 rounds per rifle type. and 1 jam CAN get you killed. that jam could destroy the gun. sometimes a gun jam causes it to explode. the bottom line is this: the m4 is a lousy piece of crap that needs replaced IMMEDIATELY.

  • @captaingradetwo I'm guessing some machining faults in one or two might have caused this-and it's a trained military personnel, I don't think they will fire again when it's jammed. And even then, no, I've seen an M4 explode and all that happened was the barrel flew off and fire shot out the breech-your face would have to be right there/you would have to not be wearing armor for it to kill you. It's not lousy and you don't see anyone telling stories about how "Jim died because his gun jammed"

  • @dakkenly just because you saw only the barrel fly off doesn't mean that's all that

  • @captaingradetwo Sure the gun's internals were destroyed and whatever-I'm saying the whole gun didn't go grenade style

  • @dakkenly it can explode. the m4 can explode in the user's face with even a small bit of water in the barrel

  • @captaingradetwo The explosion aims elsewhere, and even then if it did it wouldn't be hitting bare skin

  • @dakkenly think about this: ANY explosion is a pressure wave. subjecting the human body to that wave, even free of shrapnel can disable, maim, or kill

  • @captaingradetwo It can stun temporarily but no it's not going to make your brain explode. And your research is invalid. Yes the G36c is also a very common gun in the army. You can use the M4 if you wanted to. No the G36C is nothing internally like the M4. Did you take into account the ammunition or condition of the guns in the test? Probably not. The M4 is short and light and the design is good. The G36 had to be squashed up and so the internal parts are shorter. Please, do more "research"

  • @dakkenly i never said the HK G36 and the m4 were internally similar. i was comparing the G36 to the HK XM8. and for the test, they all used new rifles and the rounds were all the 5.56mm NATO ammunition. and why you decided to go with the G36C specifically is odd. i was referring to the G36. and even still, across all of the G36 models the internals are the same, changing only the barrel length and top rail. nothing is squashed, but made more efficiently to perform better, despite smaller.

  • @captaingradetwo G36C is the most common. Most of the guns you mention aren't exactly all purpose guns though. M4 you can actually carry long distance. If a gun jams 8000 feet from enemies oh boy, if you pass out then you're done

  • @dakkenly actually the G36C is a special purpose weapon, typically for cqb. the G36 is the standard issue variant of the platform. so what if the m4 is relatively light? its more unreliable than our other options. so you can carry it further, but its gonna be just a big useless stick when it jams. troops would be better off carrying a gun that wont be jammed and useless when they get to where they need to go

  • @captaingradetwo Stop making your only point that it jams. If you fired 60,000 rounds and jammed 900 times that's ridiculously low still, 600 shots and only 9 jams? And with luck probably not that many anyways? A soldier won't even fire that many shots in the field.

  • @dakkenly how about this for a point: ease of maintenance is a reported issue. why bother with a gun that you cant easily fix? that means while its being fixed, its been replaced, and that means higher spending

  • @dakkenly plus, your thinking is limited to simple fieldwork. what about the special forces on extended missions? they encounter bigger firefights and that means higher ammo expenditure. 600 rounds over the course of 1 mission is by no means a stretch on reality. but if you had to fire those 600 rounds, what would you want: 9 jams, or 1?

  • @captaingradetwo Those special forces? They use highly specialized expensive weapons that are perfectly fit for the job. Don't say that the people doing fieldwork should use the same weapons, because their job has a budget so the taxpayers don't have to shell out insane amounts of money for the army, which most people won't agree with

  • @dakkenly adding a laser and a silencer does not qualify a weapon as highly specialized. they get access the same stuff as regular army troops, just with an option as to what they want to use

  • @captaingradetwo Having heavy weapons, sniper rifles, side-arm SMGs, improved body armor, that costs a lot more.

  • @dakkenly what does this have anything to do with the poor nature of the m4?

  • @captaingradetwo You said "Your thinking is limited to special fieldwork" I'm talking about the M4 not being used to shoot hundreds of rounds through it

  • @dakkenly plus, if the m4 design was good, it wouldn't be so unreliable and prone to jamming. its issues are because of a poor design.

  • @captaingradetwo It's not due to poor design it's due to machine error. Yes that is true-a tiny offset can mess up a gun-and even then it's not every one of the guns. If a small bit of water in the barrel made the gun explode then I think there's something wrong with physics

  • @dakkenly just because all you saw was the barrel fly off doesn't mean that's all that can happen. the m4 IS GARBAGE. and another thing, just because you don't hear the story doesn't mean it never happened. your ignorance on the matter is so profound you are unable to see the unreliable nature of an m4; between total weapon jams and double feeding (which i have seen the devastating nature firsthand). you cannot say the m4 is in ANY WAY a good rifle. if it jams, you are defenseless.

  • Have you ever used one and shot countless numbers of bullets through it? NO? Then shut the fuck up. Stop using numbers. And in the military you carry a side-arm for a reason/have team mates for a reason. And oh boy if a gun double feeds then the bullet will magically go through all the metal and hit you full force in the unprotected spot in your face. No. The M4 is also somewhat accurate, more so than most guns. I bet you get all your information from call of duty hm?

  • @dakkenly i get all of my info via research. online & books. my point still stands: the m4 is unreliable and needs replaced. there are better guns available. take the HK G36. the m4 cant even compare in quality. the HK XM8, which in the dust test i mentioned jammed only 116 times to the m4's 882, is internally the same as the G36. that means the G36 is far better than the m4. plus, pull your head from your ass and think: our troops are in the same environment as the test. my #'s are valid

  • @captaingradetwo the m4 is not garbage check the daniel defense torture test.but if you still like hk better than get a hk 416 a gun that implies a similar system as a g36 or xm8 but withe same look and controls as a m4 therefore you would have a reliable m4

  • @beaumaplestory or....i could just take the xm8 or the g36. that way i get the build and ergonomic advantages of the xm8/g36 platform. one thing to make note of: if the m4 is so good, then why does it not see usage with our special forces? i think it was delta that got rid of it for something better.

  • @fordstheway95 depends what gun you want.

  • does this gun come with metal bushings and are the internals good?

  • @t3dward0 it does not come with metal bushings, i just opened my gearbox today and it did not have metal bushings, nor a metal spring guide, however, the gears were decent

  • ive had this gun for a little over a year, and its the best damn gun i have!!!!

with lilpoly battery, and matrix motor this thing is a beast!!!!

    the internals are great man!

  • the internals are not that good, at least when I got mine. after a couple of months of airsofting the teeth on the plastic piston ground off, do to the metal gears. I ended up replacing a bunch of internal parts.

  • i have a mystery spring and the only place i can think that it would go is in/on the only piece that is left inside the gearbox once he takes all the gears out its a kind of an off white color plastic piece(at 2:14 he puts his thumb on the plastic piece, not the tappet plate spring) is there a spring that is the same shape as the tappet plate spring but a little smaller anywhere in/on that piece?

  • Are there any videos on how to remove the electronic components in the gearbox? Because I'm trying to completely upgrade my gearbox with new wiring because the outer rubber of some parts on the wire came off.

  • Is there suposed to be a spring for the trigger. i have a spare spring, and the only place i think it can go is were the trigger is

  • What cylinder type does the jg g36c have?

  • 5/5 =]

im gonna but the matrix upgraded version JG G36 frum ur online store ;)

  • what upgrades would you recommend that you know this gun can take without totally breaking?

  • Can This Gearbox Fit Into A Double Eagle M85 (G36c)?

  • Probably, and thats a good Idea since that gun is horrible ;).

  • what is in the handle of the gun. I have a g36K and sometimes get a thumping feeling in the handle. I think it is when the mag needs rewinded

  • hi, im about to buy a be g36k (ik, sucks horribly..) can i buy a new gearbox and replace it with the stock be gearbox? ty

  • scary...

  • what is that silver round looking thing called that fell off the spring at 3:12

  • very useful/helpful

  • thank you ( ^_^ )

  • what make is this gear box?

  • this is JG

  • I took apart my gearbox and put it back together everything seems ok but, when i test it out it only goes single not full auto. it also has this weird springy noise that i don't know what it is.

Also I replaced the spring into a stronger one

  • how strong spring because it can be so strong that the battery cant take it lol good for decompression xD

  • The spring is just a little stronger then the one previously in there. its not the the battery can't handle it i hear a little clicking noise (which i found out is the trigger slipping off the plastic thing making the electrical connection.)

  • Hi, I have this exact same gearbox and I took it apart and then I put it back together. I tested it out after, and the rate of fire was fine, it sounded ok, but when I put my mag in and shot, it only shot 1 feet long. It was now useless. I can't fix it, do you know how?

  • Check to make sure you're getting good compression from your piston/cylinder. If that's not the issue then check out the hopup.

  • Im not trying to be a retard or anything, but how do I make sure I'm getting good compression? And also I check my hop-up and don't really know what to check, Also I dont think nothing is wrong with my hop up, nothing is broken or cracked.

  • No worries. Those are good questions. =)

There are a variety of ways to check compression. One way is to "plug" the air nozzle on the cylinder head with your finger and manually slide the piston back and forth inside the cylinder. The more difficult it is to press the piston forward into the cylinder, the better the air seal. Another quick way is to just test fire the gearbox and feel if there is any air coming out of the air nozzle.

  • So.... If air comes out of somewhere else like the gold cyclinder thingy hole is that okay or is that suppose to be blocked?

  • That hole is ok.

  • Cool my friend has this gun and i think t his vid will come in handy.
