Check out the wrongful conviction of Robert McClendon on the internet at America's Wrongfully Convicted . c0m in Houston, Texas, CB handle "Middle Finger" When two women conspired to have him arrested to take advatage of him when disabled from a big rig accident.
I loved that show when it came out and still love it today...and I can say your vid did not butcher it in anyway...infact your vid compliments the show and adds quite an awesome element of artistic integrity.
Beautifully done...I'd go as far to say that your vid shows in many ways how the original is a "seriously apocolyptic slapstick.
You could easily make big coin doin these vids...people would watch these if they were on tv
haha, takes a lot of talent to take a movie with this much cheese too it and make it badass, i commend you. And by that i by no means am ragging on the T/As, they're the most amazing cars ever built, my dad has an 81' turbo T/A SE so i know the awe of them haha, just this movie....this moovviiee....
Mifune, that was pretty cool and definitely worth it to give the video a whole view.
I've always remembered this scene very well from the first time I saw it on video when I was 10 in 1983, and it's probably been ten years since I've last seen it. You definitely added some new perspective to it in my eyes in a cool way.
I'd like to know where that desert chase scene eas filmed where he heads off the black top and and starts hauling ass down that desert road and Bandit says. "C-mon trigger don't let me down now" as he's slapping his hand on the dashboard. LOL that scene was classic.
thanks for your kind words. really. no, i'm afraid i don't. i made 3 of these about 3 years ago and they took quite awhile to edit and get right. i've had 1 1/2 of the 3 taken down for copyright claims and this is the only one left as i originally posted it. there is a link to the other two on my front youtube page. it might also be noted that i literally live down on the same street as youtube hdqrtrs!
@jungletiger911 It wasen't that fast back in it's day. Only had a 400 in it. Looked nice though. Gotta go back to the late 60's if you want real horsepower.
I was not allowed to have this video up because of the Napoleon NBC Universal . They remowed my preivous accounts . Join my gruop if you hate copyright claims.
Since Gleason and Paul Nemwan pretty much played the same character in the Sting films I thought I'd mention that there is a great new bio selling at amazon (Paul Newman: The Dream Has Ended!). Its priced at under $7 and its by Jenifer Demers!
this vid is great, i have never seen this before. its kinda got a modern attitude about it. Where did the film come from...its very dark..i like it. S&TB without the jokes.
Amazing what you can do on the I-15 corridor of Jean,Nv.That is where this all took place.Northbound from Primm to Jean, there is a service road that parallels the interstate, that is where it was shot, along with the desert floor scene with all the cars crashing. Not sure where the end was shot when they drove over the tops of trailers, must have been some serious reinforcement of roofs and sidewalls to pull that off.Hollywood WAS GOOD at one time..
they just had a bridge behind the trucks & shot it at an angle so it looked like they were on the trucks. you couldn't reinforce a trailer enough to take the weight of a rig.
actually, this could be the worst on youtube. at least put "East/West Bound and down" from the first one, or show the original scene. he could have been the first one to put on the original one and make a lot of people happy. he is a fony fag just like anyone who appreciates this video.
usually this comment space os for props on a vid. if you got a prob with it, dont watch it, better yet make one of your own instead of criticizing this one. i could care less about the original movies, i like this video .
for everyone who isnt fimiliar with the term "art-piece": i don't care if you like the music (TOOL) or not. i'm not a huge fan myself. i've simply tried to offer something different here by blending two seperate things that never belonged together. if you can't appreciate that much, keep your pissy comments to yourself. i could truly care less about the opinions of sheep.
You timed everything to the song perfectly. And you included my very favorite part of the movie. the part where the trucks fan out from behind the snowman. That part just rocks!!!!
