In my opinion, This is a huge cause to do the global warming. I had seen the documentary about this matter, I remembered the fire will be expanded deeply and widely, the coal will be burnt all within 200 years,

Hehehe, you have a point, Quails. :) But then, if my profession was working at McDonald's, I doubt I could afford the video/visual equipment where "cold" objects show up blue and "hot" objects show up as bright red.
I agree, the near infrared makes the trees look thick with ice and snow. I want so badly to visit this place someday. I live only 3 hours from here, give or take. Thanks!
It was no more expensive than other Hi8 camcorders of the time. It is the night vision effect (Sony's NightShot) that allows it to make such videos in daylight with proper filtration. As for the X-ray effect, that is a bit of a misnomer. What you actually see is some fabrics being transparent to infrared.
