@AStarSifter This is one of the Doctor's dreams and so he (in some ways) controls them. In this dream he trys to make himself seem as heroic as posible. Seven serves as a dammsal in destress and so (even if she can fight in Star trek voager) can't defend herself.

Favorite part of Voyager? Because they only used it twice that I can think of, one was just in a daydream and the only time it was used for real was in one of the dullest episodes of the entire series. I liked it, but if it's the only part of Voyager you enjoyed, that's not a good sign.

The way Picardo's character evolved was a joy to watch. I felt kinda sorry for the actor later when he had such a crappy part in the Stargate shows. Don't get me wrong - Picardo acted the part brilliantly as it was written, but he was just wasted in that part.
