Panzer Dragoon Saga and Orta are completely different games in the same series and simply share the Dragoon title. Plus that series is made by Sega while LoD was made by Sony. There is no LoD sequel or even another game in the series as of yet.

Yeah it;s weird. Legend of Dragoon in America outsold it in Japan by 4 to 1. Though it's not so much because of Japanese demand. It was also the reviewers who wrongly trash talked the game. It's total demand. Had the sales been even enough on both sides and reviewers not be assholes then it would have probably gotten a sequel. But it did sell over a million copies with just US and JP sales and made Greatest hits. If you add in the European sales it sold even more. We LoD fans deserve a sequel.

Actually, there was a sequel made, I read a while ago so i can't remember source that it was basically played (or was, I cant remember) Like a Panzer Dragoon Orta game I think.

@LPerBrook Thanks man. Good news is Sony FINALLY released it on PSN in Japan in December of 2010. Hopefully other PSNs will also get it by the end of the year.

sadly, there wont be a sequel. The Legend of Dragoon never was a big hit in japan and most remake are made by demands of japanese people. I know it sucks but its like that, we cant expect a second game as awesome as this =(
