Well luckily I am employed but I was hoping on a different work transition. My employer allows us as long as we cover up with a longsleeve that would.match the uniform. I recently was picked out of a 10 group interview and was called for processing and drugtest but was asked of tattoos, I was honest, they denied me. I was actualy very qualified, I said dont let my tattoos let u judge me. My sleeves are art and in no mean represent offensive things. They told me maybe try again
You are choosing to have a tattoo. It's the arrogance that goes with it (as you have shown in the video). It's all about image for companies. I have tattoos, and they are all hidden for this reason. I don't want it to effect my career in anyway, even I can see that tattoos look unprofessional in most instances.
@rastamiller that's the problem looks are meaningless in a workplace, it's the skills you posses, sadly enough, heavily tattooed people are obviously more outgoing and dedicated to their goals and most are born to lead, simply because they aren't born to conform to society's ideals on looks. i say shame on you for saying any tattoos are unprofessional. people running around judging on appearances are clearly the unprofessional ones. any form of DISCRIMINATION IS WRONG!
Im 17 and have 2 tattoos my last job (at Game) didn't care about my tattoos or my stretched ear they saw my qualifications and for the person i was not what I looked like there was also managers and other staff there with tattoos aswell, I loved working there as we would talk about tattoos and that. Why can't there be many more places like that, when I look around at shops I dont see many people with tattoos and think that there should be more shops that hire people with tatttoos :')
mate your bang on, im covered in tattoo's, i get people sort of fearing me and trying to not get in my way when im working, yes im not the most educated person, so what... just because i have loads of ink and am a bin man means fuck all im 19 and one of the nicest people youcould even met. haters gonna hate.

If I was someone that was really intelligent an had tattoo's I'd show them how smart I was. Tattoo's are amazing;I think there beautiful in every way.. And I'm only 13!!! Much love for this video xxx
this is so right. i've never understood how there's so many laws agaisnt race, sex, age discrimantion about how the best person for the job should get the job. well then why should people deserving of a job not get it just because they have tattoos. mody mods are one of the only grounds not covered by discrimnation laws. how is that fair? 40% of people aged 18-25 have tattoos but the same percentage of managers look down on job applicants with tattoos. sorry now i'm rambling. but you're right.
I have a lot of self harm scars on my arms and when I told my mum that I want a tattoo, she turned around and told me I'd already done enough damage to myself. I dont see why people's opinions have to be so negative about tattoos.
Anyways, I'm getting two at the end of next year when i'll be 18 ^^
