Hi intermender, yes Wallwik works extremely well with old ordinary wallpaper. Wallwik does also work with painted-over wallpaper, multiple layers, borders, and difficult wallpapers like grass cloth. For the more difficult wallpaper types, you should not dilute the solution so much.
