@fagaret haha man i just melt into my chair and ride waves of cosmic soul until the feeling leaves me or the music stops. nothin like fryin out to sun ra
This was recorded and released in 1978 on a small local independent label called Philly Jazz and came in a silvery reflective sleeve. Very nice and a very professional production
Sun Ra has the most overwhelming musical output of any musician in the 20th century. Not even the most obsessive fan of his work can truly understand or chronicle his creativity. We STILL DON'T KNOW how many albums Sun Ra recorded. New albums and long out of print records keep turning up in peoples attics and long-forgotten archives. He truly left a legacy of mystery that may never be unraveled.
@Shootout518 If you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to do that? I'm quite jealous...shucks I NEED TO START waking up to music like this! Maybe my days my go a little better!
Wow! This really brings back memories. Too bad, I've lost my cd. Can you please post "Where Pathways Meet"? It is my favorite song on this cd. Thanks in advance!!!

@nutzofrill True, true. Rakim is in my opinion one of the best, if not the best, Emcees of all time

@nutzofrill Rakim is not a verb. Besides, this earful of soul is good enough on it's own.

One of the most beautiful sounds on my audio landscape.
great thanks to Sun Ra and all the members of the Arkestra......
We are blessed! Btw the Arkestra still performs and is led by long long longtime band member~~~ the great Marshall Allen.

I feel this way too. Sonny's one of the few that, for me, have been able to express it.

was this produced in the 70's, Uhm it seems to me that the bass was not orginal to the composition. Anyway, viva la Sun Ra!
