he plays the same way Kim-Duk Soo does with the chae stick in the right hand. I think sometimes it's a more natural way, but who knows? Changoo is a great instrument to play! Emotional leverage when playing is amazing. It's not for the faint-hearted, that's sure!
@trunterzx Kim-Duk Soo is the one who led the group known as Samul-Nori. He holds the chae in the left-hand whereas normally you'd have it in the right. Actually you are playing it the normal way, sorry, hahaha. But you can find Kim-Duk Soo on youtube, he's an infamous changoo virtuoso!
@trunterzx 사물놀이, Kim-Duk Soo started this version of music, similar to what you are playing. Poongmul is more based on, as you may know, the movements synchronized with rhythm. However, his style is played on the ground so as to allow more versatility with all instruments including changoo. He's an infamous player, he'll inspire you ;)
P.S. I made a mistake on my part you are playing chae on the right, which is normal. If you see him play he does the opposite! Nuts! >.<

@josephferrerosa34 Who is Kim-Duk Soo? Yeah it's quite nice to play, though holding the stick properly was quite difficult...
