Oh come on, give these coaches some credit, the girls don't train alone. Before the Karolys defected to the US, there were no gymnastics champions in the United States, or am I wrong?
Mare, mare pacat!
@irs07 Those coaches chose to move to the United States and reap the rewards of living there. The gold medal belongs to the girls who trained hard and competed to earn them-and the United States. Why should it 'belong' to Romania? Romanian coaches and choreographers have also trained gymnasts in France and other countries, just as Russian coaches have. American coach Peggy Liddick trains gymnasts in Australia. Your post makes no sense whatsoever. It just sounds like sour grapes.
I don't speak Romanian unfortunately, but I love the mention of Simona Amanar. They're proud that the vault that is now a necessity to win was originated from one of their own:P A shame that Simona's fellow countrymen couldn't pull off her vault:/ The Romanian girls are my favorite team to watch
Bravo fetelor , munciti mult si sper ca pe viitor sa luati locul I ,meritati asta.Multa bafta

Raismann, Sacromone and Vega have Romanian coaches. Unbelievable. How much of this gold medal belongs to Romania?
