  • 55 yr old truck, non synch. tranny and an obviously worn out hyd. system. I drove a Euclid & a Terex on a highway project here in Va. both had 1 bad habit...scarey as hell at top speed. But when you hook up to a sunk Kenworth and lift him off the ground....yea, it was cool. Gotta love that diesel ..

  • Well, he wasn't a driver, his usual job was working on the bridge crew. This was his first day driving an old truck.

  • non-synchronized straight 5-speed. takes some exp.

  • U do know he was revving it hard to tip something out of the back right?

Also he said "cant get the gears".

  • @A1972LS5MAN u gotta be pretty bang on with ur shifting. we got 2 56's and theyre a bitch to shift at the best of times

  • @3bubblehead agreed. i played with one once. i guess i lived a sheltered driving like cause that euc. was pure HELL to shift.

  • Is this truck still in use?

  • Probably. They never wear out!

  • im not speaking for this very truck in the video but I drive a 54' euclid terrex just like that one and it works fine...same ol ugly green colour everything is the same.
