@kennedy072, Ryu Hayabusa does got a lot of moves and combo's that can kill off the oppoment with a lot of damage. Your just not good at using Ryu at all. Beside, raven is not even up top of the level of Ryu Hayabusa and he will never be because he is different then Ryu. Though, raven is a good tekken fighter. He still not top as Ryu Hayabusa. No offense to anyone but you can see many fighting game character that dress close as a assassin or ninja mostly copy Ryu moves.
Azazel, Raven allowed Jin (Devil jin i mean, cause Normal Jin can't beat Azazal) to complete what he had started, and in turn removed the orb from his corpse to prevent others from attaining Azazel's powers. I'm sure if i was using Ryu's name in place of Raven's it would seem more believeable, but having your powers listed as unknown means there's no known depths, so i still stand by my statement of "Raven can do what Ryu can and then some" doesn't ean i don't like them both tho lol

History Pt 2: The youngest Dragon god felt inferior to his older brothers and a now weakened Vigoor exploited this by turning this sense of inferiority into hatred. Thus the Dark Dragon is born, and with new found power given to him by Vigoor, the Dark Dragon plunged the world into darkness and killed his older brothers. Of course, all was not lost. As the Dragon Gods began to die, they left relics.
@ZurBar8 These relics were the Dragon Sword (which was made from the fang of one of the dragon gods), The Eye of the Dragon (which was made from the eye of one of the dragon gods), and the Dragon Lineage (humans infused with the essence of the Dragon Gods in their souls). It was the Dragon Lineage that eventually, with the help of the dragon sword, defeated the the Dark Dragon, Vigoor and his minions(the fiends).

And remember, even though you say Raven's powers are unknown, you were the one to claim Raven can do what Ryu can do and then some.
@ZurBar8 Yea, I still think Raven can do what Ryu can do and then some, Raven's skill set if you look at them are suited to be a handicap against all the other fighters, he doesn't use many punching moves only his kicks have variety giving Raven a purposfully imposed handicap. @ Izaac yea, what does that have to do with anything? so he defeated 3 gods and leagions of demons? Raven's mission is to PREVENT that from happening at any cost, so instead of letting the demons run wild and having to fix it, they never get the chance. Raven watches everything and eliminated the 1 person who would cause the chaos. also, if there was such a thing that happened, say a demon god. raven could handle the situation as a ninja should.
The day that Raven can obliterate legions of demons and reality-altering gods, I'll consider him a worthy opponent of Ryu. Until then, there is no way Raven can even dream of being Ryu's equal or better.

Still, in the third person action-adventure realm, I think Bayonetta reigns supreme. Even if Ryu and Kratos swung their blades at her, she'll just grab the sharpest point of the blades with her barehands, laugh and give a sly and cynical remark in a British accent, rant about her highheels and kill those two in a blink of an eye.
Ryu wins this contest. His looks are much better than Raven's, whose looks aren't much more than muscle and a scar. Then Ryu has more grace in his fighting. And I like Ryu's outfits better than Raven's. Who wins in a fair fight is debatable, but Ryu wins this contest.

Well I do. I have played Tekken since the first game was released in europe and my love for Tekken turned into disgust after the third one was released. After having played with veterans of Tekken3,TT,4 and now 5 I realised that juggles is the main and most important feature in the series in order to win. This because it's easier to drain the enemies health when he/she is above the ground defensless rather than on the ground. It's cheap and it's ugly looking. Practice longer combos=master.

Tekken's fighting styles is based on real martial arts. DOA is also, but majority of those moves can never be pulled off. Also some of Tekken's moves can't be done either, but majority are capable.
Ninja's don't move in quick lighting speed, they use take down maneuvers. More so like Raven's style. So realistic wise. Raven would win.

@oosuchin It really doesn't matter. True Ogre, Jinpachi, and Azazel are mere sub-bosses compared to what Ryu has to deal with. Ryu's power is a whole lot greater than Raven's, considering that Ryu is part god himself.

And as far as I know, DoA has (at the very least) four main characters: Kasumi, Ryu, Ayane, and Helena. And yes, Ryu is a superior fighter. All you have to do is look at his movesets to see it. And remember, even though you say Raven's powers are unknown, you were the one to claim Raven can do what Ryu can do and then some.

Raven's mission is to PREVENT that from happening at any cost, so instead of letting the demons run wild and having to fix it, they never get the chance. Well I do. I have played Tekken since the first game was released in europe and my love for Tekken turned into disgust after the third one was released. After having played with veterans of Tekken3,TT,4 and now 5 I realised that juggles is the main and most important feature in the series in order to win. This because it's easier to drain the enemies health when he/she is above the ground defensless rather than on the ground. It's cheap and it's ugly looking. Practice longer combos=master.

I don't care if DOA fans bash me but I'm going to give a more realistic approach to this battle.
Tekken's fighting styles is based on real martial arts. DOA is also, but majority of those moves can never be pulled off. Also some of Tekken's moves can't be done either, but majority are capable.
Ninja's don't move in quick lighting speed, they use take down maneuvers. More so like Raven's style. So realistic wise. Raven would win.

Umm... I hate to point it out but DOA has Tengu the-cock-nosed-wingy-thingy (I hate him). I think Tekken fans would prefer to play their game because they (most of them) can't keep up with the fast-paced interface on DOA. (Just my opinion)

It's ironic you say that, because real ninjutsu consists of using your body's weight and basic techniques to perform takedowns in order to escape. It's similiar to what Raven does. This whole super ninja ideal is a fabricated one to say the least.
