  • Some might remember the Pumpkins as a mainsteam alternative band, but they'd best not overlook the pure beauty of this album.. It's one of my desert island albums.

  • jimmy rips!

  • Xwarped1 ... you are throwing strikes but finding spares. It's a single it has 3 to 4 songs depending on which release you got.

  • I know that this is many people favorite pumpkin album, and it is great, but I actually think it is my least favorite. For me it is Siamese Dream, Melon Collie, Machina, Adore, Zeitgeist, then Gish...I have not really listened to Teargarden yet.

  • peccato, l'audio è pessimo

  • This album helped me when I was a kid!

  • This album helped save me as a kid

  • best drummin jimmy had since the addiction

  • What an album cover!!

  • one of their beST secrets!

  • 3:51 = YEAH!

  • woo hoo!!!

  • ......i just want to get there faster

  • Intelligently put ...this motherfukin album kicks mutherfukin ass!

  • Fuck, is this great, folks... am I the only one with an eargasm right now !? :D

  • Feel that SOUND!!!!!!! I'll have whatever he's playing... thanks!!!!

  • and the hits just keep on coming! seriously! like 1,000 of my favorite songs are by the pumpkins

  • I agree AsunderCleft. I was told by a guy who met or knew of Billy (went to HS with him at Glenbard West in Glen Ellyn IL), that he knew of this great band that would be HUGE in his opinion. After work that day I went to buy the tape Gish, i remember it like yesterday. I was about 16 or 17. Like a true purist love Gish compared to anything to follow. The rest is history, that guy I did Summer landscaping with was right on the money, they became HUGE.

  • Smashing pumpkins soli are funny. You know first of all I didn't really liked them. Then I listened to tones of other good music liky kyuss, colour haze, aic, old rhcp, old incubus, black sabbath, led zeppelin, blind melon, etc. ... and after all this I fuckin' love them, they are so fuckin' wild, expressive and totally unique.

  • Music that isn't a fashion accessory.. that makes it timeless.

    Still sounds great.

  • not necesarily

  • Pure genius, easily the greatest Pumkins album ever. I still haven't found an album that compares to this, probably because this album deals with the topic of topics, that being spiritual enlightenment, and it's expressed so profoundly.

  • siamese dream is by far their best studio album. best production, songwriting, and overall sound quality.

  • @johnowensjr1234 Siamese dream is a amazing album but i do like mellon collie and the infinite sadness

  • @AsunderCleft have to agree by far their best album hands down

  • although i figure it's relatively easier to write a really gay pop song than an awsome rock song

  • reminds of vasoline by stone temple pilots

  • Despite this being released first....

  • this is an awesome album and i just listened to slunk its awesome

  • yeah love that song especialy this live version on a japaneese talk show

  • fucking awsome song
