  • grea to watch iwas lucky enough to make a 147 on monday check it out if u want its called snooker break 147 by claudy captin cheers

  • i had been playing with an improper grip caz i was opening my last 3 fingers, and after 2 years someone told me i have to change my grip and now as i have changed my grip , i cant pot balls at all..... can you please help me, how tight should hold it, i mean how to squeeze for soft and hard shot,,,, i m just lost ,,,,,, my game is just ruined , plzzz, thank you

  • @the147break The theory of how tight to squeeze the grip is....... the faster the cue is moving the tighter the grip hand squeeze on impact needs to be,that is when tip contacts cueball,i.e. the harder you play the shot the tighter the squeeze of grip hand. If say you play a very soft shot ,the grip should only be tight enough so that the cue does not slide in your hand when the tip makes contact with cue ball,I hope this info helps, good luck.

  • @paulsy41 thank you for the message , yeah i played about 3 hours practicing with my grip and i got all the idea except 1 thing about the ring (thumb and forefinger) when u do the last stroke, should the thumb and the forefinger also open itself or just the last 3 fingers???

suppose there is a long pot and i m totally confused how to play it after changing my grip!!!

some say the thumb and forefinger should not be opening itself except the last 3 fingers, and some say u loose all fingers? tnx

  • @the147break I play and believe that only the last three fingers should come off the cue on the backswing.

  • great but i had just one question i have been playing for awhile now and yesterday i realized that i bring my elbow way too far back , and my hand almost gets straight while stroking , its too long so just wondering to know if its a big problem to do with missing balls or not? thank you so much?

  • nice run

  • i love your potting consistency however your strength management is oftenly off. Still I don't think I can beat you.

    Keep it up bro!

  • Whats your highest non line up break? You're a great player btw

  • My highest break in a game is 145 and in competition is 133.

  • sorry mate just sent u a message but just came across the answer....where u from mate?

  • @paulsy41 its amazing that you can make a 145 break but would struggle in the pro game. just shows 30 years ago you would have beaten anybody. very impressive

  • 0:25 a close bridge on snooker, first time to see, haha

  • the reverse side shot at 2:55 is the best of the bunch

  • you would be a better player if you slowed down a bit but credit to you for the maximum. My best at the lineup is only 145. Have you ever entered any pro ams?

  • Thanks for the advice but I actually play most of my clips at a lot faster speed than I do in a match.I have won some pro-ams in Australia, unfortunately I am not consistent enough to play in the U.K.

  • well played mate, I would give it a go.

  • ur the best australian player ive ever seen...that includes hann and the great eddie charlton....all the best from ireland mate,,,,get ur arse on the pro tour....oh aye i keep askin questions and the comin across the answers....must be the budweiser....good luck

  • i cant believe you managed it,, good potting but the white was flying around a bit, lots of good recovery shots there,,

  • you are too good,is my plesure to know someday!

  • your a great player, but theres 1 problem with playig the line up and thats that your not using long potting and various other shots. Great player and break tho :P

  • Top drill hard stuff thats was smooth and steady. I'll get there

  • This drill is hard. After 8 months of playing I managed to get a 139 on it.

  • nice shooting really injoyed some of those force-follow through shots. your a very good player i enjoyed your video alot

  • Great game. I have been doing routiune line ups but hardly scored century. You were awesome. well done

  • Oh this is wicked. Quality player.

  • That was simple world class. i play for a team TBH we are playing tonight and am out too beat my record break of 140 and go one better. i tried to slam the black down for my first ever 147. i was in my pub where we play i have played 1 season i had my own table when i was young and this is my 2nd season of snooker and i was simple perfect with the shots everyone was behind me but the last shot was a long black i tried too hit it with pace but it rattled and was left over the other pocket.

  • unluky i wudve been PISSED OFF!

  • he's good, i carnt get a 147 at the line out, my highist is 141. carnt keep on the black! only been playing 3 years and iv had a 108 in a match so im not to bothered :)

  • simply awesome

    great drill aswell

  • this muthafucka is god:D

  • Are you a professional player

  • his name is Joe Johnson.A legendary snooker pro

  • wtf? :D joe was active very long time ago

  • yeah d joe

  • very well done mate! good stuff ! well played :-)

  • Very impressive I have done a total clearance from a line up situation before but yours was extra special as you were posioning for black every time.

What country was this the woman announcer sounded American/Canadian.

People on the other tables stopped to watch towards the end.

    Well done

  • positioning*

  • Just a little typing error sweet heart.

    Thanks for the english lesson!

  • lol any time

  • sounds australian

  • very well done man I play a lot of snooker and i practice the line out, but that was top draw, great break, such a hard sport its unbelievable and you did it very well, my highest break is 89, only been playiny snooker for 3 years i love it thx!

  • 89 break after 3 years is great, it took me five years before I made my first 100 break in a game, good luck you might do your first 100 sooner than I did, regards Joe.

  • nice goin man get ya name signed up 4 a pro

  • it would be fun to play a game in that setup

  • Man! Who is this guy?? And why isnt he playing professional snooker in Britain or something??

  • been playin snooker for sum time now and positional is wot i lack in a Game having jus turned 16 this vid rly motivates me

  • 'shadyspills' Good luck with it. Regards Paulsy41

  • Fantastic playing my friend, I've only been playing 3 months but one day I hope to be as good as this.

    keep up the great work

  • you are good if it is a real snooker table.

  • thanks for uploading this maxmimum, i always dreaming 147 in my life but i havent done it my best is 56 and 49 exactly 7 blacks and 7 pinks in pressure matches but i realy appreciate that break very difficult to do

  • very impressive!

lots of shots with reverse side, plus difficult thin cuts on the black! Bet you got a 147 in normal play?

  • Thanks 'mofeuc' 145 is my best in a game.

  • Excellent play - I had a 65 break from a line-out once upon a time.

  • your the daddy!

  • some very nice shooting A+++++++++

  • good break but you nearly fuked it up on 97!

  • You're great :)

  • cool

Bit easy with layut but still impressive.

    Aussie rules!

  • fine cueball control. good job m8!

  • I enjoyed every single second! Great stuff! _O_

    Cya! v^.^

    mako ;]

  • it looks very much like the club i used to play at i am surprised its not actually!

  • where are you playing?

  • Excellent frame

  • well dont headbut anyone or water any plants (plastic ones like they used to have at the masters)

  • nice bit of shoulder on the last red!

  • I was doing an Alex Higgins !!!

  • pretty good. try it with 5 reds below the black next time, 6 inbetween pink and black and the other 4 between pink and blue for a better challenge. Most pro's use that routine and it requires much better cue ball control. I notice you seemed to lose the cue ball a few times and you needed the reds above the pink and blue to get back in position. good stuff though

  • Your way all the reds are much closer to the black therefore you dont really have any difficult pots to stay well on the black, your method concentrates to much on the black pockets!I know most of the other ways one could setup the line up and this is the one I prefer for it gives you some long potting and middle pocket potting and also gives me the challenge of the two reds below the blue, that's just a couple of reasons why I prefer this method, say opposed to the one you suggest. Thanks Matt.

  • funny, cause I have made probably 20 or so maximums in line ups, I never considered it to be as much of an achievement since all the balls are pottable and you don't have to open the pack. however, if that's what you prefer, then that's what you shall get ;-) I'll have a go at recording a line up ASAP. Thanks for your comments... it's a great help.

  • paulsy is correct....its more difficult doing the line up this way...love the alex higgins imitation on the last red....this guy hits the ball as good as anybody in the game...

  • is the table normed??

  • Sorry I don't understand the word 'normed'

  • i mean if the table has normal pockets, balls and so on...

  • Yes, it's a standard full size ( 12' x 6' ) billiard table.

  • good stuff
