you wouldn't think, but Xln't sound quality forgive the first couple seconds of feedback. The LP version of BONE ain't here. One of my favorite R Thompson songs from a long ago shamefully neglected early 90's record which i can't even remember...
That solo at the end is insane! The way he purposely plays odd notes with standard ones and brings it all together is amazing -an incredible guitarist!
20th on Rolling Stones' list of all-time great guitar players in rock... I don't think so. This is one example of how Richard brings his create energy to play outside conventional rock solos. Though he doesn't use "blues scales", there is enough tension in the last solo to make your jeans fade. Number 1 without a close second, except for Hendrix's revolutionary style and sound.
"Her ma writes cookbooks, she wrote one once, and it sold one or two/Her pa's in the city, he's so witty, he calls it the zoo/Her boyfriend plays in Scritti Politti..." XD. Love ya, Richard.
she ain't got no bone through her nose but you know how dat goes...so many ways ta lead a girl home...maybe they'll send her a man ain't afraid ta die or an expert in the art of the lie...or some jackass knows how to fly...I said why not let me try I know what she like...oh I know what she like yes I do yes I do...cause she my man and me I'm a man and i'm her girl...oh i know what she like and i'm gonna get that girl home if it the last thing i do...oh yeah i do either way...you comin' home girl
